20200078924 · 2020-03-12 ·

A multiple purpose tool assembly for attaching a variety of implements to a handle includes a handle and a rod that is removably coupled to the handle. The rod has a first portion that is slidably coupled to a second portion such that the rod has a telescopically adjustable length. A lock is removably coupled to the second section of the rod. The lock is biased into a locking position for retaining the rod at a selected length. Additionally, the lock is urgeable into an unlocked position thereby facilitating the length of the rod to be adjusted. A plurality of attachments is each selectively and removably attached to the rod for performing specific tasks.

Putter with alignment aid

A putter head comprising a novel alignment structure is disclosed herein. In particular, the putter comprises an alignment sphere attached to an upper surface of a lower flange and an alignment ring suspended over the lower flange and vertically aligned with the alignment sphere. When a golfer has oriented the putter properly in front of a golf ball at address, the alignment sphere will appear to the golfer to be encircled by the alignment ring.

Golf Club Face Insert

A resilient face insert for a golf club head, preferably a putter head, is disclosed herein. In particular, the face insert comprises a plurality of hinge features spaced from a striking surface to ensure consistent ball speed across the striking surface. At least a portion of each hinge feature extends parallel to the striking surface without making contact with the striking surface. In the preferred embodiment, each hinge feature comprises a tab portion that is spaced from the striking surface by a stem portion and that extends parallel to the striking surface. The hinge features may be co-molded with a polymeric backing material having a plurality of parallel grooves in order to further improve performance of the face insert.

GOLF CLUB HEADS AND METHODS TO MANUFACTURE GOLF CLUB HEADS

Examples of golf club heads and methods to manufacture golf club heads are generally described herein. In one example, a body portion of a golf club head may include a cavity having an opening and an internal structure defined by a wall portion and a base portion. A hosel portion may include an insert portion and a neck portion extending therefrom. The hosel portion may be attached to the body portion by an interference fit between the neck portion and the opening of the cavity. The insert portion may be received inside the cavity and may be spaced apart from the internal structure of the cavity. A space between the insert portion and the internal structure of the cavity may be partially or entirely filled with an adhesive to hold the hosel portion in place. Other examples may be described and claimed.

Provided is a golf putter head, which includes a head body; and a hitting member provided in front of the head body for hitting a golf ball, and to be freely slidable up and down within a predetermined range with respect to the head body. According to the present invention, when the golf putter hits the golf ball, as spin of the golf ball is smoother, directionality of the golf ball is increased.

Golf Club Face Insert

A resilient face insert for a golf club head, preferably a putter head, is disclosed herein. In particular, the face insert comprises a plurality of hinge features spaced from a striking surface to ensure consistent ball speed across the striking surface. Each hinge feature comprises a tab portion that is spaced from the striking surface by a stem portion and that extends parallel to the striking surface, and is angled with respect to a horizontal y-axis. The orientation of hinge features with respect to the y-axis varies across the face, which reduces sidespin from mishits and produces consistent topspin regardless of impact location of a golf ball on the face insert.
