Stand Alone Golf Club with Auxiliary Ground Engaging Support Members
A stand-alone putter structured and weight balanced enabling the putter to stand upright in a favorable lie and loft position on a putting surface without any outside support formed of a club head, a shaft connected to the club head, and having a gripping area at the upper end of the shaft. The club head is conventional in design and includes a ball striking face, a rear surface, a heel, a toe, an upper surface and a bottom sole structured to serve as a first ground support surface for the putter in a conventional use position with the bottom sole lying on a putting surface. The club head further includes at least one additional ground engaging support member extending outwardly from the club head forming a second ground support member to maintain the putter in a stand-alone position on the putting surface.
Universal Lie-Balanced Putter System
A counter-balance grip system for a golf putter that allows for counter-balancing in the three degrees-of-freedom of relevant putter motion. A main balance-weight body is attached to the end of a putter shaft and allows for axial and radial asymmetric internal balance weighting about the putter shaft. The main balance-weight body has an upper balance-weight body and a lower balance-weight body. The lower balance-weight body is used to achieve the asymmetric internal balance weighting in both a single-grip option and a split-grip option; the upper balance-weight body also being used to achieve the asymmetric internal balance weighting in the split-grip option. Either a plurality of internal balancing weights could be used or the main balance-weight body could be machined asymmetrically. Each of the plurality of internal balancing weights has a different length, mass, and/or density, allowing for the dynamic balancing of the putter.
Golf club heads with protective layer and methods of manufacturing the golf club heads
Embodiments of golf club heads and methods to manufacture such a golf club heads are generally described herein. In some embodiments, the golf club head may include a ball-striking face and a protective aluminum oxide layer coupled to the ball-striking face of the golf club head. The protective aluminum oxide layer is associated with a hardness that is greater than that of the ball-striking face. In further embodiments, golf club heads may include a top portion and at least one of a plurality of interchangeable alignment indicia coupled thereto, which are configured to guide the golf club head relative to a golf ball.
GOLF CLUB FITTING APPARATUS AND METHOD OF GOLF CLUB FITTING
A golf club fitting apparatus and a method for fitting using the apparatus are provided. The golf club fitting apparatus may be attached to a golf club and provide fitting information including effective lie angle and effective loft angle. The golf club fitting apparatus includes a lower surface that contacts a butt end of a grip, an upper surface opposite the lower surface, and a side surface connecting the upper and lower surfaces. An angle indicator is disposed at a predetermined angle relative to a shaft axis of the golf club so as to rest in a neutral position when the golf club is in a normal address position.
CUSTOMIZED GOLF PUTTERS AND METHODS OF CONSTRUCTING CUSTOMIZED GOLF PUTTERS
Customizable golf putters are disclosed. The putters include a putter face; a putter head that is configured to be reversibly connected to the putter face (with the putter head being selected from a plurality of different putter head styles); and a hosel that is configured to be reversibly connected to any of a plurality of hosel receiving channels that are accessible on a top surface of the putter head (the hosel) is also selected from a plurality of different hosel styles). The golf putters further include a threaded shaft connector that is configured to reversibly connect the hosel to a putter shaft. In addition, the golf putters include one or more peg fillers, which are configured to be inserted into empty hosel receiving channels.
Putter with Optimized Center of Gravity and Balance
The invention is a golf club Putter Head that allows an entire Putter Assembly (Head, Shaft, and Grip) to balance on the top of a standard golf ball, on the toe of the putter head, and on the heel of the putter head when placed on level ground. The Putter Head's ability to make a Putter Assembly balance on a golf ball, toe, and heel is driven by the precise location of the center of gravity and the specific geometry of the sole of the Putter Head.
The ability for the Putter Head to allow a putter assembly to balance on the toe, heel, and on top of a golf ball is a visual demonstration of the center of gravity and balance of the putter assembly. The center of gravity and balance of the putter assembly is a common factor used by consumers for determining putter selection.

Described herein is a method for fine-tuning a putter and manufacture thereof. More specifically, an application (App) that is utilised for static and dynamic data point analysis along with algorithms to best determine how attributes of a putter need to be set up to maximise consistency of a user's putter stroke and roll of the ball. A customised putter is tailored and manufactured for each individual based on the output data of the App and a fitting system of the putter is multi-adjustable therein.
