Head-up display and mobile body equipped with head-up display and projection optical system

A head-up display of the present disclosure projects a display image on a transparent reflecting member. The head-up display includes: a display device that displays the display image; and a projection optical system that projects the display image displayed on the display device. On an assumption that light reaching a center of a viewpoint region of the observer and corresponding to a center of the virtual image is reference light, the projection optical system includes a prism element that has an incident surface, a reflection surface, and an emitting surface different from the incident surface sequentially in an optical path from the display device. The emitting surface is inclined to the reference light. An inclination amount θ.sub.2 of the reference light emitted from the emitting surface with respect to the emitting surface lies in a range of 15°<|θ.sub.2|<45° in the optical path from the display device.

METHOD FOR GENERATING A HAPTIC FEEDBACK ON A VEHICLE PART

The proposed solution in particular relates to a method for generating a haptic feedback on a vehicle part including an operating element that is accessible for a user for manual actuation, and in response to an electronically detected actuation of the operating element, a feedback haptically perceptible for the user is generated in that the vehicle part and the operating element is adjusted back and forth in a power-operated way or is put into vibration.

An attachment includes an abutment plate portion and a retaining portion. The abutment plate portion cannot be inserted into a mounting hole. The abutment plate portion includes an insertion hole in a middle portion thereof. The retaining portion is disposed on a back side of the abutment plate portion. The attachment is mounted on the mounting hole by the retaining portion inserted into the mounting hole, the abutment plate portion abutted against a peripheral edge portion of the mounting hole from a front side and a lock portion of the retaining portion engaged with the peripheral edge portion of the mounting hole from a back side. A body portion of a solar radiation sensor is inserted into the insertion hole, a head portion of the solar radiation sensor is abutted against the abutment plate portion and at least one catch claw of the body portion of the solar radiation sensor is engaged with the lock portion of the retaining portion.

VEHICLE ENTERTAINMENT APPARATUS

Disclosed are systems and methods for a vehicle and projector module. The vehicle can include a compartment. The vehicle can include a projector module configured to extend from the compartment to provide light to a projector screen.

A method for displaying information for a user of a vehicle by means of a projection system, which has a projection unit, a control device, a first projection field, and at least one second projection field, wherein the information is transferred from the control device to the projection unit, and wherein the projection system is switched over from a first beam path, in the case of which light beams produced by the projection unit are directed onto the first projection field, to a second beam path, in the case of which light beams produced by the projection unit are directed onto the at least one second projection field, in accordance with the current position of a seat of the user, the light beams produced by the projection unit being deflected to a field of view of the user by the at least one second projection field.

Head up display for vehicle

Provided is a head up display for a vehicle. The head up display for the vehicle may include an imaging mechanism for emitting a linearly-polarized light in a first direction and a linearly-polarized light in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction, a first reflection mirror for reflecting a light to a windshield of the vehicle, a polarization reflection mirror spaced apart from the first reflection mirror wherein the polarization reflection mirror transmits the linearly-polarized light in the first direction and reflects the linearly-polarized light in the second direction, and a second reflection mirror spaced apart from the polarization reflection mirror wherein the second reflection mirror reflects the light transmitted through the polarization reflection mirror to the polarization reflection mirror. The imaging mechanism may include a separating partition for preventing mutual interference between the linearly-polarized light in the first direction and the linearly-polarized light in the second direction.

Motor vehicle with display device having a projector on the rear side of a projection area

Information that can be seen from the front side is projected onto the rear side of a projection area by a projector in a motor vehicle. The size of the projection area is variable by moving portions of a screen.

Vehicle display device

A projector is disposed inside a seatback of a front seat as a vehicle seat; therefore, when a driver as an occupant seated in the front seat checks the rear side with a rearview mirror or the like, the projector can be restrained from entering the field of view of the driver. Accordingly, different from the case in which the projector is disposed on a ceiling of the vehicle cabin or the like and exposed into the vehicle cabin, it is possible to restrain the projector from blocking the field of view of the driver.
