RUTHENIUM PRECURSOR, AMMONIA REACTION CATALYST USING SAME, AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF
The present invention relates to a ruthenium precursor compound, and more particularly, to a ruthenium precursor compound which is for providing ruthenium to an ammonia decomposition reaction catalyst and is represented by Formula C.sub.xH.sub.yO.sub.zN.sub.mRu.sub.n, wherein x is an integer of 3 to 20, y is an integer of 0 to 32, z is an integer of 0 to 20, m is an integer of 0 to 10, and n is an integer of 1 to 3. In addition, the present invention relates to an ammonia reaction catalyst using the ruthenium precursor, and to a method for preparing the ammonia reaction catalyst, and provides an ammonia reaction catalyst having an excellent ammonia conversion rate at low temperatures, thereby being capable of efficient hydrogen production.
Regenerating the catalytic activity of a spent catalyst
The invention relates to a method of regenerating the catalytic activity of a spent catalyst comprising nickel on a refractory oxide support, said method comprising the steps of contacting the spent catalyst with a nitric acid solution, heat-treating the spent catalyst, calcining and reducing the catalyst.
CHROMIUM-CATALYZED PRODUCTION OF ALCOHOLS FROM HYDROCARBONS IN THE PRESENCE OF OXYGEN
Processes for converting a hydrocarbon reactant into an alcohol compound and/or a carbonyl compound are disclosed in which the hydrocarbon reactant and either a supported chromium (VI) catalyst or a supported chromium (II) catalyst are contacted, optionally with UV-visible light irradiation, followed by exposure to an oxidizing atmosphere and then hydrolysis to form a reaction product containing the alcohol compound and/or the carbonyl compound. The presence of oxygen significant increases the amount of alcohol/carbonyl product formed, as well as the formation of oxygenated dimers and trimers of certain hydrocarbon reactants.
Ruthenium-based catalyst for ammonia synthesis and preparation method and use thereof
Disclosed is a ruthenium-based catalyst for ammonia synthesis, preparation method and use thereof. The ruthenium-based catalyst comprises Ru—Ba-A core-shell structure which comprises a ruthenium nanoparticle as a core covered with a first shell and a second shell sequentially, wherein the first shell consists of a barium nanoparticle, and the second shell consists of a metal oxide. The Ru—Ba-A core-shell structure can effectively preventing agglomerations of ruthenium nanoparticles during the use of the catalyst and avoiding direct contact between the ruthenium nanoparticles and the metal oxides. In addition, barium nanoparticles have a promoting effect as an electronic promoter, which can effectively improve the stability and catalytic activity of ruthenium-based catalyst for ammonia synthesis, especially in the system for synthesizing ammonia from a coal gas.
Anisotropic nanostructure, production method therefor, and catalyst
This invention provides an anisotropic nanostructure represented by the formula:
Ru.sub.xM.sub.1-x,
wherein 0.6≤x≤0.999, and M represents at least one member selected from the group consisting of Ir, Rh, Pt, Pd, and Au, and wherein Ru and M form a solid solution at the atomic level, and the anisotropic nanostructure has an anisotropic hexagonal close-packed structure (hcp).
BLEACH CATALYST
A bleach catalyst suitable for use in automatic dishwashing comprising a mixed metal oxide.
Supported copper catalyst and selective hydrogenation of furan-based compounds using the same
Disclosed are a catalyst including copper (Cu) particles having specific properties as an active metal dispersed and supported on an alumina support, a method of preparing the same, and a method of hydrogenating furan-based compounds such as 5-(hydroxymethyl)furfural (HMF) derived from biomass with a high selective conversion and high efficiency using the catalyst.
Segregation induced core-shell structure
A process for synthesis of PtNi high surface area core/shell particles. The processing including formation of PtNi nanoparticles, exposure of the PtNi nanoparticles to oxygen to form a nickel oxide coating on the nanoparticles at the same time the segregation of Ni to surface induces a Pt-skin with PtNi core structure, removal of the nickel oxide coating to form PtNi core/Pt shell (or Pt-skin) structure.
