Display unit
In a display unit of the present invention, an instrument frame body (speedometer frame body, power meter frame body) are changed to a map frame body in a process that the road image is stepwise reduced and display to the map image by switching from a road display state to a map display state. Further, the map frame body is changed to the instrument frame body in a process that the map image is stepwise enlarged and displayed to the road image by switching from the map display state to the road display state.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING A SUGGESTED STEERING ACTION INDICATOR TO USER INTERFACE OF VEHICLE
Systems and methods are provided to provide a steering indicator to a driver of a vehicle. It is determined whether a first obstacle is in a forward path of the vehicle and whether a second obstacle is present at a side of the vehicle. In response to (a) determining the first obstacle is in the forward path and (b) determining whether the second obstacle is present at the one or more sides of the vehicle, a suggested steering action indicator indicating one or more movements for the vehicle to avoid the first obstacle is provided to a user interface of the vehicle.
SETTING DEVICE, DISPLAY CONTROL DEVICE, AND VEHICLE DISPLAY CONTROL SYSTEM
A setting device including a processor is provided. The processor is configured to, when occurrence of a secondary disaster is predicted after occurrence of a disaster, set a region in which the secondary disaster is predicted to a charging-prohibited zone in which use of a charging facility for charging a battery installed in a vehicle is prohibited.
Vehicle rearview mirror assembly
A vehicle rearview mirror assembly is provided, including: a casing including a first shell body and a mounting board having an attachment portion with an aperture; a mirror attached to the mounting board and including a light-penetrable patterned portion spatially corresponding to the aperture; a light emitting module mounted to the attachment portion and including a second shell body, a light guide and a light source, the second shell body including an insertion slot therethrough, the light source being inserted through the insertion slot and engaged within the second shell body, and a binding member securing the light emitting module to the second shell body and sealing the insertion slot.
Method and system for assisting drivers in locating objects that may move into their vehicle path
A system and method for assisting drivers of vehicles are described. The systems and methods provide an extended view of the area surrounding the driver's vehicle while providing real-time object trajectory for objects and other vehicles that may enter the driver's reactionary zone. The system and methods capture images of the area surrounding the driver's vehicle and create a composite image of that area in real-time and using Augmented Reality (AR) create a 3-D overlay to warn the driver as objects or other vehicles enter the driver's reactionary zone so that a driver can make more informed driving decisions.
DISPLAY CONTROL APPARATUS, SPEED CONTROL APPARATUS AND DISPLAY CONTROL METHOD
A display control apparatus, a speed control apparatus and a display control method capable of improving visibility of an advertisement in accordance with a situation are provided. The display control apparatus according to embodiments includes a speed information acquisition unit configured to acquire speed information of a mobile object provided with an advertisement display unit, and a display control unit configured to execute processing of changing a degree of change of an image of an advertisement to be displayed at the advertisement display unit based on the speed information.
HMI CONTROL DEVICE AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
An HMI device for presenting information recognizably by an occupant of a vehicle capable of autonomous driving is controlled. An acceleration and deceleration state, which is an execution status of acceleration and deceleration control in the vehicle during autonomous driving, is acquired. Acceleration and deceleration information relating to the acceleration and deceleration state is presented in a mode corresponding to the acceleration and deceleration state.
HEAD-UP DISPLAY DEVICE
A head-up display device that is configured to allow a driver to intuitively recognize a plurality of objects sequentially along a travel route of a vehicle while projecting a video onto an image forming plane that has a length in the vertical direction shorter than a length in the horizontal direction. An optical processor of the head-up display device obtains from a controller a first image signal based on the nearest road sign information and a second image signal based on the following road sign information along the travel route. The optical processor causes line segment objects as well as information objects generated from the first image signal and the second image signal, respectively, to be displayed on an image forming plane.
DISPLAY MODIFICATION BASED ON THE IMPORTANCE OF THE DATA
An example operation includes one or more of causing data, related to a performance of a transport, that is most significant to gain prominence on a display of a transport, and visually altering the data based on a worsening of the performance.
Systems, devices, and methods for controlling operation of wearable displays during vehicle operation
The present systems, devices, and methods generally relate to controlling wearable displays during vehicle operation, and particularly to detecting when a user is operating a vehicle and restricting operation of a wearable display to prevent the user from being distracted. At least one processor of a wearable display system receives user context data from at least one user context sensor, and determines whether the user is operating a vehicle based on the user context data. If the user is operating a vehicle, presentation of at least one user interface is restricted. Unrestricted access can be restored by inputting an unlock input to override the restriction, or by analysis of additional user context data at a later time.
