CATALYSTS AND METHODS FOR NATURAL GAS PROCESSES
Catalysts and catalytic methods are provided. The catalysts and methods are useful in a variety of catalytic reactions, for example, the oxidative coupling of methane.
Process for the Commercial Production of High-Quality Catalyst Material
The present invention describes an improved process for the commercial scale production of high-quality catalyst materials. These improved processes allow for production of catalysts that have very consistent batch to batch property and performance variations. In addition these improved processes allow for minimal production losses (by dramatically reducing the production of fines or small materials as part of the production process). The improved process involves multiple steps and uses calcining ovens that allow for precisely control temperature increases where the catalyst is homogenously heated. The calcining gas is released into a separate heating chamber, which contains the recirculation fan and the heat source. Catalysts that may be produced using this improved process include but are not limited to catalysts that promote CO hydrogenation, reforming catalysts, Fischer Tropsch Catalysts, Greyrock GreyCat™ catalysts, catalysts that homologate methanol, catalysts that promote hydrogenation of carbon compounds, and other catalysts used in industry.
CATALYST FOR CARBONYLATION OF DIMETHYL ETHER AND METHOD FOR PREPARING THE SAME
Disclosed are a catalyst for carbonylation of dimethyl ether that has high catalyst activity and can be regenerated using a fluidized bed reactor, and a method for preparing the same. The catalyst for carbonylation of dimethyl ether includes a support having a first density; and ferrierite zeolite catalyst particles bound to a surface of the support via a polymer binder and having a second density smaller than the first density.
ALUMINA WITH A PARTICULAR PORE PROFILE
The present invention relates to an alumina with a particular pore profile and good thermal stability. This alumina is also characterized in that it has a high bulk density. The alumina has, after calcining in air at 1100° C. for 5 hours: a pore volume in the range of pores with a size of between 5 nm and 100 nm which is between 0.50 and 0.75 mL/g, more particularly between 0.50 and 0.70 mL/g; and a pore volume in the range of pores with a size of between 100 nm and 1000 nm which is less than or equal to 0.20 mL/g, more particularly less than or equal to 0.15 mL/g, or even less than or equal to 0.10 mL/g.

SUSPENSION OF NANOPARTICLES OF A MIXED OXIDE
The present invention relates to a suspension of nanoparticles of a mixed oxide based on cerium and zirconium. It also relates to the use of said suspension for the preparation of a catalysed gasoline particulate filter.
MULTI-METALLIC BULK HYDROPROCESSING CATALYSTS
Multi-metallic bulk catalysts and methods for synthesizing the same are provided. The multi-metallic bulk catalysts contain nickel, molybdenum tungsten, yttrium, and optionally, copper, titanium and/or niobium. The catalysts are useful for hydroprocessing, particularly hydrodesulfurization and hydrodenitrogenation, of hydrocarbon feedstocks.
Bifunctional Metal Oxides And Paraffin Isomerization Therewith
Tungstated zirconium catalysts for paraffin isomerization may comprise: a mixed metal oxide that is at least partially crystalline and comprises tungsten, zirconium, and a variable oxidation state metal selected from Fe, Mn, Co, Cu, Ce, Ni, and any combination thereof. The mixed metal oxide comprises about 5 wt. % to about 25 wt. % tungsten, about 40 wt. % to about 70 wt. % zirconium, and about 0.01 wt. % to about 5 wt. % variable oxidation state metal, each based on a total mass of the mixed metal oxide. The mixed metal oxide has a total surface area of about 50 m.sup.2/g or greater as measured according to ISO 9277, and at least one of the following: an ammonia uptake of about 0.05 to about 0.3 mmol/g as measured by temperature programmed adsorption/desorption, or a collidine uptake of about 100 μmol/g or greater as measured gravimetrically.
Catalyst for mass production of multi-wall carbon nanotubes
Provided is a catalyst for manufacturing multi-wall carbon nanotubes, the catalyst including metal components according to <Equation> Ma:Mb=x:y, and having a hollow structure with a thickness of 0.5-10 μm. In the above equation, Ma represents at least two metals selected from Fe, Ni, Co, Mn, Cr, Mo, V, W, Sn, and Cu; Mb represents at least one metal selected from Mg, Al, Si, and Zr; x and y each represent the molar ratio of Ma and Mb; and x+y=10, 2.0≤x≤7.5, and 2.5≤y≤8.0.
SUPPORT AND FT SYNTHESIS CATALYST, AND PREPARATION METHODS THEREFOR AND APPLICATIONS THEREOF
A microsphere of oxide has an opening on its surface connected to a hollow core inside, forming a cavity. The oxide the microsphere is made of is selected from the group consisting of alumina, silica, zirconia, magnesium oxide, calcium oxide and titania. The microsphere of oxide shows better mass and heat transfer characteristics, and has strength significantly higher than that of existing products with similar structures. A FT synthesis catalyst has the microsphere of oxide as a support and an active metal component disposed on the support. The active metal component is one or more selected from the group consisting of Co, Fe, and Ru.
