Vehicle driving assist apparatus
When vehicle forward information includes information on a construction site road sign which indicates the limit speed at a construction site, a vehicle driving assist apparatus acquires the limit speed indicated on the construction site road sign as a construction site sign limit speed, based on the vehicle forward information and displays the acquired construction site sign limit speed on the displaying device. When acquiring the database limit speed while displaying the construction site sign limit speed on the displaying device, and a distance that an own vehicle has moved since acquiring the construction site sign speed limit currently displayed on the displaying device is shorter than a predetermined distance, the vehicle driving assist apparatus continues displaying the construction site sign limit speed on the displaying device without displaying the database limit speed acquired this time on the displaying device.
Visual Content Overlay System
An augmented reality display system included in a vehicle generates an augmented reality display, on one or more transparent surfaces of the vehicle. The augmented reality display can include an indicator of the vehicle speed which is spatially positioned according to the speed of the vehicle relative to the local speed limit. The augmented reality display can include display elements which conform to environmental objects and can obscure and replace content displayed on the objects. The augmented reality display can include display elements which indicate a position of environmental objects which are obscured from direct perception through the transparent surface. The augmented reality display can include display elements which simulate one or more particular environmental objects in the environment, based on monitoring manual driving performance of the vehicle by a driver. The augmented reality display can include display elements which identify environmental objects and particular zones in the environment.
DISPLAY CONTROL DEVICE, DISPLAY SYSTEM, DISPLAY CONTROL METHOD, PROGRAM
An input unit receives a signal relating to an object. A generation unit generates first information and second information relating to the object based on the signal received by the input unit. A control unit displays the first information that has been generated on a first display device and displays the second information that has been generated on a second display device. The control unit changes the display mode of the first information with the passage of time according to the first regularity and the display mode of the second information with the passage of time according to the second regularity corresponding to the first regularity.
TRANSITIONING OF VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL FROM AN ADAS OR AD SYSTEM TO A DRIVER
The present disclosure relates to a method performed by a deviation assessment system of a vehicle for supporting transitioning of speed control from an ADAS or AD system of the vehicle, to a vehicle driver. The deviation assessment system derives a current system-initiated value of a speed-affecting system parameter pertinent speed control by the ADAS or AD system. The deviation assessment system further derives a value of a corresponding speed-affecting intervention parameter pertinent a driver-initiated speed-affecting intervention of the speed control. Moreover, the deviation assessment system presents on a vehicle display a graphical representation indicative of a discrepancy between the system-initiated value and the driver-initiated value. The disclosure also relates to a deviation assessment system in accordance with the foregoing, a vehicle comprising such a deviation assessment system, and a respective corresponding computer program product and non-volatile computer readable storage medium.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE FOR VEHICLE AND METHOD OF OPERATING ELECTRONIC DEVICE FOR VEHICLE
Disclosed is an electronic device for a vehicle, including a processor acquiring image data acquired by a camera mounted in a vehicle, determining a riding intention of an outside person based on the location, posture, and gesture of the outside person detected from the image data, and generating a control signal to stop the vehicle based on the riding intention.
Method for Operating a Driver Information System in an Ego-Vehicle and Driver Information System
A method for operating a driver information system in an ego vehicle is provided, in which environment data in an environment of the ego vehicle are captured, and an additional road user is identified using the captured environment data. A driver information display is generated and output, wherein the driver information display comprises a graphic road user object which represents the additional road user. A depiction-relevant feature of the additional road user is determined, and the road user object assigned to the additional road user is generated depending on the depiction-relevant feature.
Method for Operating a Driver Information System in an Ego-Vehicle and Driver Information System
A method for operating a driver information system in an ego vehicle is provided, in which a current speed of the ego vehicle and a set parameter of an at least partially automated longitudinal guidance function of a driver assist system are acquired. A driver information display is generated and output, wherein the driver information display comprises a graphic lane object which represents a roadway in front of the ego vehicle. In doing so, a distance scale object and a distance indicator object are arranged in the lane object and are generated depending on the current speed of the ego vehicle. The distance scale object is generated so that positions of the lane object are assigned to distances from the ego vehicle, and the distance indicator object is arranged on the distance scale object such that the set parameter is output.
Method for Operating a Driver Information System in an Ego-Vehicle and Driver Information System
A method for operating a driver information system in an ego-vehicle is provided, wherein an operating state of a trailer device of the ego-vehicle is recorded. A driver information display is generated and output, wherein the driver information display comprises an ego-object which represents the ego-vehicle. In addition, the ego-object is represented from behind in a perspective view and the driver information display also comprises a lane object which represents a road section lying in front of the ego-vehicle in the direction of travel. The driver information display also comprises a trailer object which is formed according to a recorded operating state of the trailer device and which represents an attached device.
HIGH-ACCURACY AUGMENTED REALITY DISPLAY FOR CONSTRUCTION MACHINES
Disclosed are techniques for displaying AR elements on a display system of a construction machine. A position of the construction machine in a world reference frame is detected. An orientation of the construction machine is detected. A position of an operator of the construction machine in a machine reference frame is detected. A position of the operator in the world reference frame is determined based on the position of the operator in the machine reference frame, the position of the construction machine in the world reference frame, and the orientation of the construction machine. The AR elements are generated based on the position of the operator in the world reference frame and a position of the display system in the world reference frame. The AR elements are then displayed on the display system.
Display device for hybrid vehicle
A display device, for a hybrid vehicle for displaying an output relating to traveling of the hybrid vehicle, includes a first region and a second region. The first region indicates the output in a first mode in which an internal combustion engine is stopped and the vehicle travels using an electric motor. The second region indicates the output in a second mode in which the internal combustion engine is operated to travel. The first region includes a third region positioned close to the second region and indicating the output at which the internal combustion engine possibly starts up.
