VEHICLE INFORMATION DISPLAY APPARATUS, SYSTEM AND METHOD
A vehicle-mounted display apparatus includes a display panel, a geographic position acquisition circuit, a processor, and a display panel driving circuit. The geographic position acquisition circuit acquires a current geographic position of a vehicle. The processor determines whether the current geographic position of the vehicle is within a stored geographic range, and if so, generates a first control signal. The display panel driving circuit controls the display panel to display the vehicle information upon receiving the first control signal from the processor. The vehicle information includes at least one of vehicle license information and a pseudo mobile phone number. In the display apparatus, an information push terminal communicating circuit communicates with an information push terminal to obtain the vehicle information and the stored geographic range, and a server communicating circuit communicates with a server to obtain the pseudo mobile phone number corresponding to an identification for the display apparatus.
VEHICLE CONTROL DEVICE AND VEHICLE CONTROL METHOD
Disclosed herein is a control device. The control device includes a communication unit wirelessly exchanging information with a mobile terminal, a cradle installed in a vehicle and including a seating surface and a button formed on the seating surface, a sensing unit sensing an object in contact with the seating surface, and a processor transmitting information on the button to the mobile terminal through the communication unit to control a display unit of the mobile terminal to display a button image corresponding to the button when the mobile terminal is detected through the sensing unit.
System and method to restrict device access in vehicles
A vehicle safety system includes at least one detector positioned to monitor at least a portion of an interior of a vehicle and a processor/communication system configured to receive inputs from the at least one detector and to communicate with brought-in devices located within the vehicle. The processor/communication system determines a location of the brought-in device based on visible/IR signals generated by the brought-in device and detected by the at least one detector, wherein the processor/communication system communicates restrictions/permissions to the brought-in device based on the determined location.
PROVIDING A COMMUNICATIONS CHANNEL BETWEEN INSTANCES OF AUTOMATED ASSISTANTS
Implementations relate to interactions, over a wireless communication modality, between an automated assistant of an automobile computer system, and separate client device(s). In some of those implementations, the client device(s) can be paired with the automobile computer system, and the client device(s) and the automobile computer system can include separate instances of an automated assistant, which can be associated with different user accounts. In some additional or alternative implementations, particular actions to be performed by a local application of a client device can be advanced via user interaction with the automobile automated assistant, despite a counterpart to the local application not being installed directly on automobile computer system. For example, despite an automobile computer system not having a third-party messaging application installed, the automobile automated assistant can access requested actions to be performed by the third-party messaging application in order to further a requested action. The automobile computer system can transmit, via the wireless communication modality, content to cause the third-party application to further the requested action.
Vehicle and method of controlling the same
Provided is a vehicle including a vehicle communicator configured to receive image information of a home device and position information derived on the basis of a signal transmitted by the home device, a display configured to display an image on the basis of the image information, and a vehicle controller configured to identify a selection area of the home device on the image on the basis of the image information and the position information, wherein the display shows the identified selection area.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR OPERATING AT LEAST TWO DISPLAY DEVICES CARRIED BY RESPECTIVE VEHICLE OCCUPANTS ON THE HEAD
Data characterizing a relative arrangement of vehicle occupants with respect to one another are continuously transmitted to display devices worn on the heads of the vehicle occupants. Virtual environments are displayed as a function of these data.
Method and apparatus for integration of vehicle applications
Integration of at least one vehicle application for a vehicle, wherein each vehicle application is designed to control a function of the vehicle. This may be achieved by establishing a communications link between a mobile device and the vehicle, and transmitting data from the at least one vehicle application from the vehicle to the mobile device via the communications link or by launching an application on the mobile device, wherein a message is sent from the mobile device to the vehicle when the application has been launched and execution of a vehicle application is launched in the vehicle on the basis of the message.
INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, RECORDING MEDIUM, AND INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD
An information processing device includes a controller that is configured to: acquire driving behavior information as an indication of prudence of a driver in driving a vehicle, acquire a vehicle avatar corresponding to the vehicle, the vehicle avatar having a basic personality set thereto according to information about the vehicle, create a message according to the basic personality of the vehicle avatar based on the driving behavior information, and output the message, that is created, as an utterance of the vehicle avatar.
DYNAMICALLY DETERMINING PROVIDER-TRANSPORTATION ROUTES AND RENTAL-VEHICLE ROUTES FOR A MULTI-MODAL GRAPHICAL USER INTERFACE
The present disclosure relates to systems, non-transitory computer-readable media, and methods for determining different routes along which provider vehicles and rental vehicles can transport a requestor to a destination. For instance, in some cases, a multi-modal-transportation system receives a transportation request that includes a pickup location and a destination location. The multi-modal-transportation system analyzes the transportation request to generate (i) a provider transportation route by which a provider vehicle transports the requestor to the destination location and (ii) a rental route by which one or more intermediate vehicles and a rental vehicle transport the requestor along rental-route segments to the destination location. The multi-modal-transportation system further transmits data for both routes to a requestor device to display within a multi-modal graphical user interface.
