AUTOMATIC DISHWASHING CLEANING COMPOSITION
An automatic dishwashing cleaning composition including a dispersant polymer and a surface-modification surface-substantive polymer wherein the composition leaves glass after being washed with the composition in an automatic dishwasher with a contact angle with deionised water of less than about 50° and wherein the surface-modification surface-substantive polymer has a rivulet forming effect on water drainage from glass.
Anhydrous autodish formulation
A method of washing glassware is provided including: providing automatic dishwashing apparatus; providing soiled glassware; placing soiled glassware in automatic dishwashing apparatus; providing wash water; providing rinse water; selecting anhydrous mixed powder or mixed granule comprising: 2.5-5 wt % of oxidized maltodextrin, wherein oxidized maltodextrin has Degree of Oxidation of 0.4-1.7; 10-25 wt % of amino acid based builder; 20-75 wt % of additional builder, wherein additional builder includes at least one of sodium citrate, sodium carbonate and sodium percarbonate; 2.5-7.5 wt % of bleach activator; 0.5-10 wt % of nonionic surfactant; 0.5-1 wt % of phosphonate; 1-6 wt % of enzyme; 5-15 wt % of filler; and <1 wt % water; placing selected anhydrous mixed powder or mixed granule in automatic dishwashing apparatus; contacting selected anhydrous mixed powder or mixed granule with wash water to form combination; contacting soiled glassware with combination to provide treated glassware; and then contacting treated glassware with rinse water to provide cleaned glassware.
SOLID FAST DRAINING/DRYING RINSE AID FOR HIGH TOTAL DISSOLVED SOLID WATER CONDITIONS
The present invention is a solid rinse aid composition and methods of making and using the same. Applicants have surprisingly found that the crystal modifier sodium xylene sulfonate (short chain alkyl benzene or alkyl naphthalene sulfonates) at higher percentage can act as a solidification agent. The solid rinse aid composition generally includes a short chain alkyl benzene or alkyl naphthalene sulfonates solidification agent and an effective amount of a surfactant which can include a sheeting agent component, defoamer component and/or association disruption agent. The solid rinse aid composition may be phosphate-free, aminocarboxylate-free, and GRAS if desired.
TOUCH SCREEN CLEANING AND PROTECTANT COMPOSITION
A cleaning and protectant composition and a method for using the composition on an article such as a touch screen or screen protector for a mobile device, computer, or other electronic device. The composition comprises a polymeric film former. The polymeric film former is an oxazoline homopolymer or an extended or a modified polymer based on an oxazoline homopolymer. The polymeric film former forms a retention coating to retain components within the composition for an extended period of time. The composition is also present in a kit with an application device.
SHAPED DETERGENT PRODUCT COMPRISING AMINOPOLYCARBOXYLATE
A shaped detergent product comprising 10 to 100 wt. % of a first solid phase and 0 to 90 wt. % of one or more other phases, wherein the first solid phase comprises: a) non-crystalline chiral aminopolycarboxylate; b) non-crystalline organic acid other than component a); c) at most 30 wt. % water; d) at most 50 wt. % of non-crystalline water-soluble component other than component a) or component b); e) at most 20 wt. % of homogeneously dispersed crystalline material; wherein the combination of the components a), b) and c) is present in the first solid phase in a concentration of at least 35 wt. % of the total weight of the solid phase; and wherein components a), b) and c) are present in the solid phase in a ratio of from 25 to 88 parts by weight of free acid equivalent of component a): from 10 to 60 parts by weight of free acid equivalent of component b): from 2 to 30 parts by weight of component c); and wherein the shaped detergent product comprises at least 0.5 wt. % surfactant.
Multi step cleaning system
A multi step cleaning system, for cleaning a cleaning surface using a first cleaning solution containing alkyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride and a second cleaning solution containing acetic acid. The first cleaning solution is impregnated in a first wipe, and the second cleaning solution is impregnated in a second wipe. The wipes are sealed and provided to the user in a double chambered packet, having a first chamber and a second chamber that are isolated from each other. In use, after the packet is opened, the first wipe is used to wipe the cleaning surface, the cleaning surface is fully dried, and the second wipe is used to wipe the cleaning surface. The cleaning surface is left with an extraordinary shine that is long lasting and repels dirt, dust, and grime.
Bioactive protein-polymer compositions
Bioactive coatings that include a base and a protein associated with the base for actively promoting the removal of organic stains are provided. In aspects, bioactive coatings that are stabilized against inactivation by weathering are provided including a base associated with a chemically modified enzyme, and, optionally a first polyoxyethylene present in the base and independent of the enzyme. The coatings are optionally overlayered onto a substrate to form an active coating facilitating the removal of organic stains or organic material from food, insects, or the environment.
ESTER-MODIFIED ORGANOSILICON-BASED SURFACTANTS, METHODS OF MAKING SAME AND APPLICATIONS CONTAINING THE SAME
There is provided herein a polyalkylene-oxide-free surfactant composition comprising an ester-modified organosilicon having the general formula (I)
AO.sub.aR.sup.4.sub.b(BO.sub.cR.sup.11.sub.d).sub.e(C).sub.fD.sub.g.
There is also provided methods for making the ester-modified organosilicon (I) and agricultural, coating, personal care and home care applications containing the polyalkylene-oxide-free surfactant composition.
ANTI-FOGGING AGENT
The present invention provides anti-fogging agents and cleaners that provide long-lasting prevention of fogging of glass, plastic, or other hard surfaces. The present invention relates to an anti-fogging agent or cleaner which contains: (A) a fluorinated amphoteric or anionic surfactant; and (B) a fluorinated nonionic surfactant. The present invention also relates to an eyeglass cleaner including a non-woven fabric impregnated with the anti-fogging agent or cleaner.
ANTI-FOGGING AGENT
The present invention provides anti-fogging agents and cleaners that provide long-lasting prevention of fogging of glass, plastic, or other hard surfaces. The present invention relates to an anti-fogging agent or cleaner which contains: (A) a fluorinated amphoteric surfactant; (B) a fluorinated anionic or cationic surfactant; and (C) a non-fluorinated amphoteric surfactant. The present invention also relates to an eyeglass cleaner including a non-woven fabric impregnated with the anti-fogging agent or cleaner.
