Output system, information processing system, including circuitry to generate a character string to perform authentication for a user, and authentication method
An output system includes circuitry to generate information on a character string in response to an authentication request including user identification information transmitted from an output apparatus. The circuitry further transmits the information on the character string to an information processing device. In response to receiving the information on the character string and the user identification information from the output apparatus that has received the information on the character string and the user identification information from the information processing device, the circuitry further performs authentication for a user identified by the user identification information, based on the information on the character string and the user identification information, and transmits an authentication result to the output apparatus.
NFC DEVICE DETECTION
A near-field communication circuit of a first NFC device alternates, in low power mode, between: first phases of emission of field bursts and second phases spanning an entire duration separating two successive first phases. Each second phase includes a field detector enabling phase. In one implementation, the field detector enabling phase extends all along a duration of the second phase. In an alternate implementation, the field detector enabling phase is interrupted by field detector disabling phases. Each field detector disabling phase has a duration shorter than a minimum duration of each first phase.
Systems and methods for fast AGC convergence using high-speed interface between baseband and RFIC
With advanced compute capabilities and growing convergence of wireless standards, it is desirable to run multiple wireless standards, e.g., 4G, 5G NR, and Wi-Fi, on a single signal processing system. Automatic gain control (AGC) is a process of converging on a gain level for optimum signal reception considering the dynamic range of all the components in the receive chain, including analog and digital parts. For certain wireless standard such as Wi-Fi, AGC is required to complete within a short interval. Both RF and baseband gains have to be adjusted within this short time. Discloses in the present disclosure are embodiments of a high-speed and low pin-count interface between an RF circuit and a baseband circuit for AGC communication. The high-speed interface provides a light-weight serial protocol over one or more low-voltage differential signaling (LVDS) channels to meet a low-latency requirement for gain updates.
SIGNAL PROCESSING APPARATUS, SIGNAL PROCESSING METHOD, AND PROGRAM
The present technology relates to a signal processing apparatus, signal processing method, and program capable of extending a communication distance while reducing a signal delay in contactless communication.
The signal processing apparatus performs filter processing on a signal received from a reader/writer via a first antenna, and transmits the signal to a card serving as a contactless communication apparatus via a second antenna. Furthermore, the signal processing apparatus performs filter processing on a signal received from the card via the second antenna, and transmits the signal to the reader/writer via the first antenna. The present technology can be applied to a communication system using contactless communication.
Method for compensating for a phase shift between the signal emitted by an object and that received from a reader equipped with an envelope detector and corresponding object
An operation of calibrating the object using a reference reader is performed, the calibration operation including an operation of placing the reference reader at various distances away from the object that correspond to various values of a parameter within the object that is representative of the intensity of the signal received by the object, and, for each distance, an operation of determining an internal phase-shift compensation in the object with respect to a nominal internal phase shift, making it possible to obtain a load modulation amplitude that is higher, in terms of absolute value, than a threshold, and an operation of storing a lookup table of the various values of the parameter and the corresponding internal phase-shift compensations.
NFC device detection
In accordance with an embodiment, a method includes: transmitting, by a first near-field communication (NFC) device, a field emission burst; comparing a characteristic property of a signal of the field emission burst to a detection threshold; determining a presence of a detection error based on the comparing; and adjusting the detection threshold based on a number of determined detection errors.
COMMUNICATION METHOD AND APPARATUS
This application relates to the field of communication technologies, and discloses a communication method and apparatus. On example method includes: a backscatter device receives an excitation signal from an exciter. The backscatter device determines a backscatter signal pattern in a backscatter signal pattern set, where the backscatter signal pattern set includes a plurality of backscatter signal patterns, and backscatter reference signals in the plurality of backscatter signal patterns do not overlap in time domain. The backscatter device modulates a backscatter reference signal and a backscatter data signal on the excitation signal based on the determined backscatter signal pattern, to obtain a backscatter signal. The backscatter device sends the backscatter signal to a receiver.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING REAL-TIME ORDER ASSISTANCE
A system and method for providing real-time order assistance is disclosed. The system receives a request for order assistance from a customer device of a customer. The system also establishes an audio connection and a data connection between the customer device and an order assistant device of an order assistant available to assist with the customer's request for order assistance. The system then manages an order session by (a) enabling audio communication between the customer and the order assistant via the audio connection and (b) enabling the customer and the order assistant to create an order via the data connection. In addition, the system closes the order session when the order is complete to enable fulfillment of the order.
TECHNIQUES FOR AUTHENTICATING BUILDING/ROOM ACCESS TERMINALS
The techniques described herein provide for authentication of a reader device over a wireless protocol (e.g., NFC or Bluetooth, BLE). The mobile device can receive and store the static public key of the reader device and one or more credentials, each credential specifying access to an electronic lock. The mobile device can receive an ephemeral reader public key, a reader identifier, and a transaction identifier. The mobile device can generate session key using the ephemeral mobile private key and the ephemeral reader public key and send the ephemeral mobile public key to the reader device. The reader device can receive the ephemeral mobile public key and sign and transmit a signature message to the mobile device. The mobile device can validate a reader signature and generate an encrypted credential that the reader can use to access an electronic lock. The reader device can authenticate the mobile device for mutual authentication.
