Integrated X-ray source
Disclosed herein is an X-ray source, comprising: a cathode in a recess of a first substrate; a counter electrode on a sidewall of the recess, configured to cause field emission of electrons from the cathode; and a metal anode configured to receive the electrons emitted from the cathode and to emit X-ray from impact by the electrons on the metal anode.
Method for security inspection and kit of parts with a detachable single-use inlay for an X-ray tray
A method for security inspection of baggage and/or personal items and a kit of parts include a detachable single-use inlay and an X-ray tray of a security check, for example, at an airport. A single-use inlay as such is also described. Furthermore, this disclosure relates to use of the kit of parts and/or the single-use inlay for the prevention of transfer of pathogenic agents. At least one metal organic framework (MOF) provided on the outer side and/or inner side of the single-use inlay is adapted and arranged to detect at least one explosive or any other hazardous compound, and/or detect at least one drug.
PORTABLE TERAHERTZ SECURITY INSPECTION APPARATUS
The present disclosure provides a portable terahertz security inspection apparatus, including: a carrying body; a terahertz emitting device arranged on the carrying body, wherein the terahertz emitting device includes a terahertz signal source and an emitting unit connected to the terahertz signal source and configured to emit a terahertz wave; a terahertz detector arranged on the carrying body and configured to receive the terahertz wave reflected from an inspected object; a data acquisition and processing system arranged on the carrying body and connected to the terahertz detector, wherein the data acquisition and processing system is configured to receive a scan data for the inspected object from the terahertz detector and generate a terahertz image; and a display device connected to the data acquisition and processing system and configured to receive and display the terahertz image from the data acquisition and processing system. The portable terahertz security inspection apparatus does not need to be equipped with a mechanical scanning system, so that a volume and a weight of the terahertz security inspection apparatus may be greatly reduced, and a security inspector may move the terahertz security inspection apparatus manually to perform scanning of the imaging area.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR X-RAY DATA GENERATION
Disclosed is an apparatus for generating X-ray data including a processor that receives first image data indicating that a hidden item is hidden in a non-hidden item, and second image data indicating the non-hidden item, and generates output data and a buffer. The processor includes an extraction unit that extracts first hidden data corresponding to the hidden item from the first image data, a shape change unit that generates second hidden data by performing a shape change on the first hidden data, an interpolation unit that generates third image data by performing interpolation based on the second image data and the second hidden data, and a projection unit that generates the output data by projecting the third image data onto a 2D plane. The buffer stores a plurality of parameters associated with generation of the first hidden data, the second hidden data, the third image data, and the output data.
Portable access control system
A portable container is provided which comprises a passing room(s) allowing entry into a second area into a first area, the passing room having at least two openings with a walkway in-between. Barrier device(s) can be located in the walkway but not connected to the first or second opening. A control room(s) can also be provided, the control room being connected to the passing room(s).
FULLY-AUTOMATED SELF-DIVESTING SCREENING SYSTEM AND METHOD
Various embodiments are directed toward systems and methods relating to security screening. For example, a screening system includes chamber scanners oriented to scan different heights corresponding to different respective portions of a user, to identify whether the user is carrying an item that is to be divested. The screening system also includes a divestment scanner configured to obtain a detailed item characterization of the item divested from the user.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SECURITY INSPECTION
The present disclosure relates to a security inspection system. The system may include a re-inspection apparatus and a monitoring platform. The monitoring platform may receive information relating to a suspect article in a package and information relating to an electronic tag attached to the package. The monitoring platform may also generate re-inspection instructions for the package based on the information relating to the suspect article and the information relating to the electronic tag, and send the re-inspection instructions to the re-inspection apparatus. The re-inspection apparatus may re-inspect the suspect article in the package based on the re-inspection instructions. The information relating to the suspect article may be generated and sent by a security inspection machine. The information relating to the electronic tag may be generated and sent by a labelling apparatus. The package with the electronic tag may be delivered to the re-inspection apparatus by a distribution apparatus.
ALERT OUTPUT TIMING CONTROL APPARATUS, ALERT OUTPUT TIMING CONTROL METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
An alert output timing control apparatus is configured to hold an analysis target image and time information indicating a period of time time to be spent until alert is output, and output the analysis target image to a display apparatus. When the analysis target image is input to a model and it is determined that an alert target object is included in a photographic object of the analysis target image, the alert output timing control apparatus obtains a period of time time from the time information and performs control so that alert is output at timing that arrives when the obtained period of time time elapses since given timing after the analysis target image is output.
SECURITY INSPECTION SYSTEM AND METHOD
A security inspection system and method are disclosed. The security inspection system comprises: at least one baggage cart comprising at least one compartment for containing a baggage and configured to pass through a scanning channel; and a scanning device configured to inspect the baggage cart passing through the scanning channel and containing the baggage, at least based on a traveling speed of the baggage cart.
