Systems and methods for controlling a head-up display (HUD) in a vehicle are disclosed herein. One embodiment deactivates the HUD in response to a command from a driver of the vehicle; assigns a level of urgency to an item of information associated with a current vehicular context; and activates the HUD to display the item of information to the driver, when the level of urgency exceeds a predetermined threshold.

According to an embodiment, a navigation device installed in a vehicle includes an obtainer, a controller, and a reproducer. The obtainer obtains at least one of vehicle information related to the vehicle and driver information related to a driver of the vehicle. The controller controls, based on at least one of the vehicle information and the driver information, localization direction of a playback sound which is to be reproduced for the driver. The reproducer reproduces the playback sound using a three dimensional sound based on control of the localization direction.

The present disclosure discloses a method for outputting early warning information, a device, a storage medium and a program product, including: acquiring, according to vehicle traveling information, both a preset sensing frame rate and a preset early warning frame rate corresponding to the vehicle traveling information; performing, according to the preset sensing frame rate, sensing processing on acquired sensor data to obtain a sensing result; and determining, according to the sensing result and the preset early warning frame rate, a target early warning frame rate, and performing, according to the target early warning frame rate, early warning processing on the sensing result to obtain an early warning result of the vehicle. Both the number of times of processing the sensor data and the number of times of processing the sensing result can be reduced, and the early warning information is output based on the driving assistance system.

In one embodiment, a method is provided that includes determining an initial touch position of an external touch position and an option selection control and an initial option selection of the option selection control corresponding to the initial touch position. The method may then include detecting a current touch position and a movement trajectory of the external touch operation and a focused option corresponding thereto. Upon detecting a termination of the external touch operation, a final disengagement location may be determined and a final selection may be determined based on the initial touch position, the final disengagement position, and the movement trajectory.

A system and method for presenting location-based augmented reality road signs on or within a vehicle includes a database, a plurality of transmitters, and a plurality of vehicle integrated receivers. The database is held in a computer network accessible location and stores a plurality of datasets. The plurality of transmitters are connected to the database through the computer network and broadcast area-relevant datasets from the database wirelessly in a defined geographic coverage area. The plurality of vehicle integrated receivers are operative to receive area-relevant datasets and use the information therein to determine when a particular road sign is required and then generate a standardized road sign image for the required road sign and display the image on or in the vehicle as an augmented reality projection.
PARAMETER ADJUSTMENT USING VEHICLE TOUCH SCREEN
Methods and systems are provided for adjusting parameters using a vehicle touch screen. In one embodiment, a method includes determining an initial touch position of an external touch operation when the external touch operation is detected. A movement trajectory and final disengagement position of the external touch operation may then be detected. The movement trajectory need not be limited to an area covered by a parameter adjustment control. The parameter adjustment control may then be adjusted to a final parameter value according to the initial touch position, the final disengagement position, and the movement trajectory.
