Sensor for autonomously movable moving body
A moving body including an external world information acquisition device is autonomously movable based on external world information acquired by the external world information acquisition device. The external world information acquisition device is arranged on an inner side of the moving body than an outer shell member of the moving body, and is formed with an external world information acquisition surface. The outer shell member has an opening portion. The moving body includes a cover member which is provided between the external world information acquisition device and the opening portion. The external world information acquisition surface acquires the external world information via the cover member. The cover member has a flat plate shape, and is arranged to face the external world information acquisition surface, and to be inclined in an upper-lower direction and a left-right direction of the moving body with respect to the external world information acquisition surface.
Driving system for automated driving with a steering wheel display
A driving system is operatable at least in a first automated driving mode with automated longitudinal and/or lateral control, and in a different second automated driving mode with automated longitudinal and/or lateral control. The driving system has a steering wheel display with luminous elements for illuminating the steering wheel, which can be operated in different illumination states that are distinguishable by the driver. The luminous elements may illuminate the steering wheel rim, and are typically integrated into the steering wheel rim. The driving system specifies which illumination state of the different illumination states the steering wheel display has. The driving system specifies that, during operation of the driving system in the first driving mode, the steering wheel display is illuminated in a first illumination state. During operation of the driving system in the second driving mode, the steering wheel display is illuminated in a second illumination state that can be distinguished from the first illumination state by the driver.
DISPLAY SYSTEMS AND ASSOCIATED METHODS THEREOF
Innovative peripheral bar assembly for a transportation vehicle is provided. The assembly includes a front bar housing with a front segment and a rear segment, and a through slot aligned with a diffuser operationally coupled to a first surface of an I/O PCB having a plurality of light sources emitting light that is transmitted through the diffuser and the slot. The assembly further includes a rear bar housing having a front segment and a rear segment, the front segment of the rear bar housing coupled to the rear segment of the front bar housing. A top surface of the peripheral bar assembly is coupled to a bottom of a chassis of a display system having a display module. The assembly configured to provide accent lighting through the slot of the front bar housing.
STEERING GRIP LIGHT BAR SYSTEMS
Various implementations include a light bar system for a steering wheel of a vehicle that includes a high intensity light source, a light diffusing layer, and an outer lens. For example, in certain implementations, the light diffusing layer is disposed between a plurality of high intensity light emitting diodes (LEDs) and an outer lens, and the light diffusing layer causes the light from the LEDs to appear as a continuous stream of light across a length of the lens and provides sufficiently bright lighting to warn or communicate with the driver in various ambient lighting conditions. In certain implementations, the outer lens is colored to blend in with the rest of the steering wheel when the LEDs are not activated.
Laminated glazing with an electrically controllable device and manufacture
A laminated glazing incorporates an electrically controllable device and the manufacture thereof including an operation of preassembly with a thin plastic strip.
Blind spot detection device for vehicle, method thereof, and steering wheel device
A device for blind spot detection of a vehicle, a method thereof and a steering wheel device are provided. The device includes a steering wheel, a lighting device, a blind spot detector, and a controller. The steering wheel comprises a configuration area including a fixed point, and the fixed point is represented as a virtual location of the vehicle. The lighting device includes a luminous light strip and a dimming driver. The luminous light strip assembled on the steering wheel surrounds the fixed point. The dimming driver controls lamp signals of the luminous light strip. The controller obtains a detection result of whether at least one object is approaching the vehicle, and controls the lamp signals to present a relative position between the vehicle and the at least one object and a degree of proximity between the vehicle and the at least one object according to the lamp signals.
Steering wheel
A light bar mounted on a steering wheel includes a holding member, a substrate, a plurality of visible light sources, a plurality of infrared light sources, and a light guiding element. The holding member includes a radiating opening. The substrate is held by the holding member in such a manner that a gap is formed between a first end in a width direction of the substrate and one of side walls of the holding member. The infrared light sources are mounted and arranged on a front surface of the substrate generally along a length direction of the substrate for emitting infrared light toward the driver. The visible light sources are mounted and arranged on a back surface of the substrate generally along the length direction of the substrate. The light guiding element is configured to deflect visible light emitted from the visible light sources toward the radiating opening.
Illumination device comprising a screen and optical waveguides for displaying a linear light; motor vehicle and method for operating an illumination device
An illumination device for a motor vehicle for displaying a linear light including a plurality of optical waveguides, an illuminating element having a plurality of light sources for coupling light into a respective first end face of the plurality of optical waveguides, and an emitting part for generating a linear light distribution, the optical waveguides being arranged with a respective second end face, which is different from the first end face, through the emitting part relative to one another along precisely one line.
WORK VEHICLE
A work vehicle includes a chassis having a first side and a second side opposite the first side, a prime mover supported by the chassis. The operator cab is supported by the chassis and includes at least one window. An operator interface is positioned in an operator cab and configured to display information about operation of the work vehicle. A projector is configured to project the information from the operator interface onto at least one window.
