Systems and methods of multi-factor authentication utilizing a vehicle
Embodiments disclosed herein describe vehicle-based authentication protocols. An illustrative authentication server may receive a request to authenticate a user connected from a mobile device. The authentication server may transmit a request to the mobile device to transmit geolocation data of the mobile device. In response, the mobile device may transmit a stream of its geolocation data. Based upon the received geolocation data stream, the authentication server may determine that the mobile device in a motion and select a vehicle-based authentication protocol to request geolocation data of a trusted vehicle. The authentication server may compare the mobile device geolocation data stream and the vehicle geolocation data stream to determine a similarity score. If the similarity score is above a threshold, the authentications server may authenticate the user. In some cases, the authentication server may authenticate the user if the mobile device is connected to the trusted vehicle.
DISPLAY SYSTEM
A display system for at least one wheel of at least one vehicle comprising: At least one LED display device for displaying information on a wheel of a vehicle; A computer in association with the at least one LED display device, the computer comprising GPS; A main server;
Wherein the LED display device is linked to the computer and the computer is in wireless communication with the main server via a wireless network; in use, the server has stored in memory a plurality of information packets for display by the LED display device, each information packet has an associated location and/or time for being displayed, the main server wirelessly sends at least one information packet and associated time and/or location to the associated computer of the at least one vehicle, when the at least one vehicle is in the desired location and/or time the computer instructs the at least one LED display device to display the associated information.
IN-VEHICLE PHONE FINDER
A system and method for locating a portable electronic device that is paired with a vehicle that uses a plurality of antennas located on an exterior of a body of the vehicle, within an interior cabin of the vehicle, or located on the exterior of the body and within the interior cabin of the vehicle to communicate with the portable electronic device, and displays a location of the portable electronic device within or near the vehicle based on the communication between the plurality of antennas and the portable electronic device on a graphic display interface of the vehicle.
Vehicle infotainment system and method of controlling the same
A vehicle infotainment system for performing a large file transfer (SATA), music (USB), phone projection (CarPlay/Android Auto/MirrorLink), a modem (USB) and a phone mirroring (MHL) function using a millimeter wave short-range communication method in a band of 30 GHz to 300 GHz for a link between the vehicle infotainment system and a smartphone.
ASSISTANCE SYSTEM, PORTABLE WIRELESS TERMINAL, CONTROL METHOD FOR ASSISTANCE SYSTEM, CONTROL METHOD FOR PORTABLE WIRELESS TERMINAL, AND PROGRAM
The present invention obtains an assistance system capable of assisting with function setting of a straddle-type vehicle by a rider, a portable wireless terminal used for such an assistance system, a control method for such an assistance system, a control method for such a portable wireless terminal, and a program run on such a portable wireless terminal.
In an assistance system (1), an acquisition section (51) of a portable wireless terminal (50) wirelessly acquires information on the function setting operated on an input device (11) of a straddle-type vehicle (10), and an input section (52) of the portable wireless terminal (50) provides a guidance corresponding to the information on the function setting operated on the input device (11) of the straddle-type vehicle (10) when accepting the operation of the function setting by the rider.
DISPLAY LIGHT EMITTING DEVICE
When the distance indicated by distance information received by a Bluetooth module (31) is less than a predetermined first reference distance (KY1), a guidance image (33) including a distance image (33a) and a direction image (33b) is generated, and this guidance image (33) is displayed on a combiner (26) of a helmet (20). By stopping the display of the distance image (33a) of the guidance image (33) and continuing to display the direction image (33b) from when the distance indicated by the distance information becomes less than a second reference distance (KY2) shorter than the first reference distance (KY1) to when the guidance point is reached, the driver's attention is focused on the direction image (33b), so that a mistake in the direction of travel at the guidance point can be prevented.
Method and apparatus for vehicle-state alerts indicative of undesirable conditions
A system includes a processor configured to determine an applicable pre-defined vehicle system state set, defining preferred vehicle system states when a driver is away from a vehicle. The processor is also configured to determine a driver exit-event while a vehicle state in the state set varies from a preferred setting and notify a driver mobile device of the variance, responsive to the exit event.
Vehicular control system with traffic lane detection
A vehicular control system includes a forward viewing camera disposed at an in-cabin side of a windshield of a vehicle and viewing forward of the vehicle. Road curvature of a road along which the vehicle is traveling is determined responsive at least in part to processing by an image processor of image data captured by the camera. Responsive at least in part to processing of captured image data, a traffic lane of the road along which the vehicle is traveling is determined. Upon approach of the vehicle to a curve in the road, speed of the vehicle is reduced to a reduced speed for traveling around the curve in the road at least in part responsive to at least one selected from the group consisting of (a) processing of image data captured by the forward viewing camera and (b) data relevant to a current geographical location of the equipped vehicle.
Vehicle software deployment system
There is disclosed herein examples of systems and procedures for performing software updates for vehicles. The vehicles may be scheduled for the software updates based on information related to the vehicles. Update systems may determine when the vehicles have entered service ranges of the update systems for the scheduled software updates and may initiate the software updates in response to determining that the vehicles have entered the service ranges. Progress of the software updates may be monitored and displayed on a dashboard system overseeing the software updates of the vehicles.
Information processing device, information processing system, program, and information processing method
An information processing device has an obtaining unit, a controller, and a giving unit. The obtaining unit can obtain vehicle information. The controller creates first warning information when the passability of a road in the vehicle information indicates non-passable. The controller creates recovery information when the passability of the road at the same position in the vehicle information indicates passable, after creation of the first warning information. The giving unit gives the recovery information.
