RECORDING APPARATUS
A recording apparatus includes a recording head having discharge orifices arranged on a discharge orifice surface, a cap, a wiper, and a moving unit that moves the wiper in a first direction. When the cap covers the discharge orifice surface, a first member is disposed at an inside wall of the cap at a position near a first side of a region having the discharge orifices, and a second member is disposed at another inside wall of the cap at a position near a second side of the region having the discharge orifices. The first side faces in a direction opposite to the first direction and the second side faces in the first direction. In a direction normal to the discharge orifice surface, a distance between the second member and the discharge orifice surface is smaller than a distance between the first member and the discharge orifice surface.
LIQUID DISCHARGE METHOD, NON-TRANSITORY RECORDING MEDIUM, AND LIQUID DISCHARGE APPARATUS
A liquid discharge method includes: calculating a first print time to print original image data on a print medium; generating rotated image data by rotating the original image data by a predetermined angle; calculating a second print time to print the rotated image data on the print medium; comparing the first print time and the second print time to determine whether the first print time is larger than the second print time; generating print image data according to the rotated image data in response to a determination in which the first print time is larger than the second print time; generating print image data according to the original image data in response to a determination in which the first print time is smaller than the second print time; and displaying a position and a direction of the print medium based on the print image data.
PRINT HEAD MAINTENANCE ASSEMBLY
Disclosed herein is a print head maintenance cartridge, a printing device and a method of cleaning a print head. The print head maintenance assembly comprises a maintenance cartridge that is movable along a first direction and a wiper assembly comprising a wiper element for wiping a print head. The wiper element extends along the first direction. The maintenance cartridge comprises a guide rail extending along the first direction. The guide rail is to engage with the wiper assembly to adjust a position of the wiper element depending on a relative position between the maintenance cartridge and the wiper assembly in the first direction.
Inkjet recording apparatus
The controller of an inkjet recording apparatus supplies a recording medium onto the conveyor belt with a pair of registration rollers based on a detection result of the trailing edge of the recording medium by a first detection sensor and a detection result of an opening by a second detection sensor. The controller determines whether the recording medium is being placed on the conveyor belt coinciding with the opening that is moved due to the traveling of the conveyor belt, and based on the determination result, the controller controls the recording head to execute flushing and the pair of registration rollers to supply a subsequent recording medium onto the conveyor belt.
INKJET PRINTING APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
The amount of ink in a cap at the time of end of printing initiated by a print command is estimated, and it is determined whether an open suction action is to be performed based on the estimated post-printing ink amount to prevent spillover of the ink and reduce downtime due to the open suction action.
PRINT MODULE WITH AIR COOLING ARRANGEMENT
A print module includes: a body housing first and second opposed printed circuit boards (PCBs), each of the first and second PCBs having heat-generating electronic components; an air inlet and an air outlet positioned towards an upper part of the body; an air pathway extending between the air inlet and the air outlet; a plurality of heatsinks, each heatsink being thermally coupled with one of the heat-generating components and having an array of cooling fins extending into the air pathway; and an inkjet printhead receiving power and print data from at least one of the first and second PCBs. The inkjet printhead is positioned toward a lower part of the print module.
METHOD FOR MAINTAINING INK JET HEAD
A method for maintaining an ink jet head according to the invention includes at least one of a maintenance step of attaching a maintenance liquid to a nozzle surface of an ink jet head, which ejects a reaction solution including an aggregating agent for aggregating or thickening components of an ink composition, to clean the nozzle surface, and a maintenance step of covering and moisturizing the nozzle surface with a head moisturizing cap supplied with the maintenance liquid, in which the maintenance liquid includes a water-soluble organic solvent having a boiling point of 280° C. or less and water.
LIQUID DISCHARGE HEAD, AND RECORDING DEVICE USING THE SAME
A liquid discharge head is configured to achieve decrease in temperature difference in the liquid discharge head, and includes a recording device including the liquid discharge head. The liquid discharge head includes a channel member having a plurality of discharge holes, a plurality of pressurization chambers, and a plurality of common channels, and a plurality of pressurizing parts. The plurality of common channels extends in a first direction and configures a common channel group aligned in a second direction crossing the first direction, the common channels are connected with the plurality of pressurization chambers disposed along the common channels among the plurality of pressurization chambers, and the channel member is disposed outside, in the second direction, with respect to the common channel group, and further includes a first end channel extending in the first direction, and the first end channel is lower in channel resistance than the common channels.
INKJET PRINTING DEVICE AND PRINTING METHOD USING THE SAME
An inkjet printing and an inkjet printing method are provided. The inkjet printing device includes a stage comprising a substrate mounting part configured to receive a target substrate mounted thereon, a print head unit located above the stage and configured to spray an ink including a plurality of particles, and a suction device located at a side of the substrate mounting part and configured to generate negative pressure thereon.
HEAD CLEANING UNIT AND SUBSTRATE TREATING APPARATUS
Disclosed is an inkjet head cleaning unit including a body, an ejection unit formed in the body, and that ejects a cleaning fluid for cleaning a nozzle surface of a head, a suction unit formed in the body, and that suctions the cleaning fluid used for cleaning the nozzle surface of the head and foreign substances separated from the nozzle surface of the head, and a central body provided between the ejection unit and the suction unit, and height of the central body is adjusted in a vertical direction.
