VEHICLE CONTROL APPARATUS
A vehicle control apparatus includes: a steering control unit connected to an in-vehicle communication network mounted on a vehicle and configured to control a steering motor configured to add an auxiliary torque corresponding to a steering operation by a driver to a steering mechanism; and an illegal signal detection unit connected to the in-vehicle communication network and configured to detect an illegal signal input to the in-vehicle communication network. The steering control unit restricts the auxiliary torque when the illegal signal is detected by the illegal signal detection unit.
VISUALIZATION OF PLANNED AUTONOMOUS VEHICLE BEHAVIOR
To visualize planned behavior of an autonomous vehicle (AV) traveling along a roadway, a user interface engine receives data describing a planned pathway of the AV along the roadway and object data describing an object having a predicted pathway crossing the planned pathway of the AV at a cross point. The user interface engine classifies the object either an asserting object or a yielding object based on a prediction of whether the object reaches the cross point before the AV or after the AV. The user interface engine generates an image that includes the planned pathway of the AV and the object in the environment of the AV. The image of the object indicates whether the object is classified as an asserting object or a yielding object.
INTER-OCCUPANT CONVERSATION DEVICE AND INTER-OCCUPANT CONVERSATION METHOD
A rear display displays a driver image of a driver to a rear occupant. An operational information acquisition unit acquires operational information for changing a size of the driver image displayed on the rear display. An image control unit changes the size of the driver image displayed on the rear display, on the basis of the operational information acquired by the operational information acquisition unit. A sound control unit controls, at a time of generating a synthetic sound by combining a spoken voice of the driver with a reproduced sound of an AV source, a sound-level ratio between the spoken voice of the driver and the reproduced sound of the AV source, on the basis of the size of the driver image displayed on the rear display. A rear speaker outputs the synthetic sound generated by the sound control unit toward the rear occupant.
VEHICLE ELECTRONIC CONTROL SYSTEM, CENTER DEVICE, VEHICLE MASTER DEVICE, DISPLAY CONTROL INFORMATION TRANSMISSION CONTROL METHOD, DISPLAY CONTROL INFORMATION RECEPTION CONTROL METHOD, DISPLAY CONTROL INFORMATION TRANSMISSION CONTROL PROGRAM, AND DISPLAY CONTROL INFORMATION RECEPTION CONTROL PROGRAM
In a vehicle electronic control system, a center device includes an update data storage unit that stores update data for rewrite targets. Program rewriting to rewrite target electronic control units is one campaign. The center device includes a display control information storage unit that stores display control information necessary to display information related to the campaign on a vehicle side. The center device transmits the update data stored in the update data storage unit and the display control information stored in the display control information storage unit to a vehicle master device.
Steering wheel
A steering wheel according to the present invention for showing a plural driving information comprises: a display device including a screen, an operation device for outputting an operation instruction and a host. The host comprises an interface generating device connected to a storage unit, and connects to an Electronic Control Unit of a vehicle to obtain driving information. After receiving the driving information and the operation instruction input by the user through an operation device, the interface generating device divides the driving information into a plural shown information and hidden information, the shown information is added to a custom page transmitted to the display device, so that the screen shows the custom page and selected driving information.
Transportation Information Display Device
A transportation information display device for a vehicle includes a GPS speedometer adapted for measuring a speed of the vehicle in response to a GPS data to generate a current speed of the vehicle, a display unit for displaying the current speed of the vehicle from the GPS speedometer; and a data transmission link operatively linking between the GPS speedometer and the display unit, wherein a distance between the GPS speedometer and the display unit is adjustable and extendable via the data transmission link, such that the display unit is selectively supported at a desired location for providing a visualization of the current speed of the vehicle into a visual field of a driver within the driver's line of sight without requiring the driver to remove said visual field away from the road.
VEHICLE INTEGRATED COMPUTER
An electric vehicle (EV) can include a VIC in operable communication with the EV main computer and the EV infotainment system. The VIC can include a processor, a memory in operable communication with the processor, and a computer-readable medium in operable communication with the processor and having software, such as a hypervisor, stored thereon. The VIC can be configured to have internet connectivity.
REAL-TIME RACING LAP TIME USER FEEDBACK & COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
An onboard real-time lap, segment, section and start (holeshot) time measuring and feedback system for racing is provided. The system further provides a communication link between a third party (mobile device, team/team members, other participants) and the racer. The system digitally recreates and enhances what is known as a pit board or manual written means of communicating with the user. Additional training features are optionally provided. Post-race/practice data may then be uploaded to a mobile device for further analytics and comparison amongst other racers, athletes and/or other users.
