CONDITIONALLY TRANSPARENT TOUCH CONTROL SURFACE
A conditionally transparent touch control surface including a base layer, a display layer, and a surface layer. The display layer includes a plurality of display areas each with an OFF state and an ON state. The surface layer covers the plurality of display areas and each display area is visible through the surface layer only while that display area is in the ON state. The control surface is flexible and contours to a shape such as the shape of an interior surface of a vehicle. The display areas can be reconfigured to match with a specific function and to display a specific icon, and the display areas can be hidden from view when not in use.
CONFIGURABLE USER INTERFACE
A system with a configurable user interface for controlling a console of an agricultural vehicle to enable assignment of one or more configurable control keys of the user interface to one or more vehicle functions. At least one configurable control key of the user interface is determined for a selected vehicle function. The control key(s) is/are then indicated to a user to select the desired key(s) and assign the vehicle function to the selected control key(s).
Systems and methods for making vehicle purchase recommendations based on a user preference profile
A vehicle includes a system for recording and analyzing user preferences during a vehicle test drive. The system includes a processor and a memory that stores processor-readable instructions. When executed by the processor, the processor-readable instructions cause the system to: determine a user identity; create a user preference profile based on the user identity; communicate a prerecorded message describing one or more vehicle options to the user; record a user response of the user in response to the prerecorded message; analyze the recorded user response; and update the user preference profile based on the analysis of the recorded user response.
Work vehicle with improved control valves controllers
A work vehicle, including: a plurality of control valves configured to selectively convey hydraulic fluid to a hydraulic machine, a plurality of controllers connected to said control valves, a terminal including a display screen displaying graphics associated with said valves, a setting button configured to selectively modify a connection between the control valves and the controllers, and modify graphics based on changes of the connection.
Adaptive operating device
An adaptive operating device (1) has at least one operating area (2) with at least one manually operable operating element (3). At least one of the operating elements (3) is arranged on an operating module (4) formed as a cylinder (5) rotatably mounted in the operating area (2). The operating device (1) further includes a configuration device (6) which, by changing the rotational position of the operating module (4) and/or changing the functionality of the operating element (3), configures the at least one operating element (3) in such a way that a movement of the operating element (3) corresponds to an identical movement of an item of work equipment (9) which is attached when in use.
Vehicle control arbitration
A system includes a computer including a processor and a memory, the memory storing instructions executable by the processor to actuate a vehicle to execute a maneuver. The instructions include instructions to determine one of that a human operator is in the vehicle or that a human operator is not in the vehicle. The instructions include instructions to select one, and only one, of an in-vehicle human machine interface physically connected to the vehicle or a mobile user device wirelessly connected for providing commands to the vehicle based on whether a human operator is in the vehicle or is not in the vehicle. The instructions include instructions to actuate the vehicle based on commands from, and only based on commands from, the selected one of the in-vehicle human machine interface and the mobile user interface.
VEHICLE INPUT CONTROL DEVICE, VEHICLE INPUT CONTROL SYSTEM, VEHICLE INPUT CONTROL METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY STORAGE MEDIUM IN WHICH PROGRAM IS STORED
A vehicle input control device includes: an operation reception unit that receives input from operation switches provided in a vicinity of a driver's seat of a vehicle; a function switching reception unit that receives input from function switching switches that switch functions allocated to the operation switches; and a function switching restriction unit that restricts switching of the functions by the function switching reception unit in a case in which a driving mode of the vehicle is a predetermined driving mode.
VEHICULAR DISPLAY CONTROL DEVICE, VEHICULAR DISPLAY DEVICE, VEHICULAR DISPLAY CONTROL METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A vehicular display control device includes a memory; and a processor coupled to the memory, the processor being configured to: acquire a function allocation status of a multifunction switch capable of being allocated any press-implemented function, in order to display an image of a switch array including the multifunction switch on a display device, and display a first symbol in a display region corresponding to the multifunction switch in the switch array image in a case in which the multifunction switch has not been allocated a press-implemented function.
Projection display device
A projection display device includes a display device, an optical system, and a shielding plate. The optical system includes a first mirror and a second mirror provided on the regular optical path, the second mirrors being to provide an optical path convergence point on the regular optical path, and the first mirrors being provided at a position corresponding to the optical path convergence point. The projection display device is configured such that a position of a mirror surface of the first mirror and the second mirror is adjustable in accordance with a position of an eye point of a user so as to project the light toward the projection position that corresponds to the position of the eye point. The shielding plate is provided such that the shieling plate does not interfere with the regular optical path and such that the shielding plate interferes with the different optical path.
Vehicle operation system and vehicle operation method
A vehicle operation system includes an operation unit disposed within a vehicle and including an operating element configured to receive an operation of an occupant of the vehicle, a determiner configured to determine a target-specific device serving as an operation target from among a plurality of specific devices on the basis of an operation different from a mechanical operation performed on the operating element by the occupant of the vehicle, and a device controller configured to control the target-specific device on the basis of the mechanical operation performed on the operating element by the occupant of the vehicle.
