Dial structure
The dial structure includes a dial base having an optical transparency, on which a carbon pattern is formed, and an uneven portion formed on a front surface of the dial base. The uneven portion has a convex and concave form representing a convex and concave form of the carbon pattern. A background print layer is formed on a back surface of the dial base excluding a portion to be an indicator portion, and has a color tone of the carbon pattern.
DECORATIVE PART FOR VEHICLE DISPLAY DEVICE AND VEHICLE DISPLAY DEVICE
A decorative part for a vehicle display device includes a substrate body that is molded by synthetic resin and a mirror surface that is formed on a surface of the substrate body, in which the mirror surface is formed so that mirror surface roughness becomes larger than 0 and equal to or smaller than 0.35 μm and a ratio of a wavelength becomes equal to or larger than 1:600 and equal to or smaller than 1:6000 in the case of an amplitude of 1, the amplitude being captured by a ratio of the amplitude corresponding to an average height of an undulation waveform and the wavelength corresponding to an average length of the undulation waveform in an undulation curve in which a cutoff value from a surface shape is 250 μm.
Motor vehicle display device
A motor vehicle display device is provided with information on vehicle operating states which can be displayed in an analog and/or digital manner by display elements, wherein in the direction of viewing of the motor vehicle display device, the display elements are disposed at least in two superimposed planes or plane regions. At least one first plane or one first plane region is provided, in which at least one active display element is disposed, and at least one further plane or one further plane region is provided, which is positioned before the first plane or the first plane region in a viewing direction, wherein only passive display elements are disposed therein, with at least one passive display element being disposed there. In this way the motor vehicle display device is given an appearance with a special 3D effect.
DISPLAY DEVICE
A display device includes a liquid crystal panel providing a display surface where an image is displayed, a backlight emitting light to the liquid crystal panel from behind, a real object placed between the liquid crystal panel and the backlight and visible through the liquid crystal panel, and a controller controlling the liquid crystal panel such that a specific pixel region of the display surface behind which the real object is positioned is higher in light transmittance than another pixel region of the display surface.
Recreational vehicle interactive telemetry, mapping and trip planning system
An interactive system for use in connection with recreational vehicle usage includes a server system, including an off-road trail database containing trail data, trail condition information, and points-of-interest information, as well as a trip mapping system accessible by any of a plurality of riders, allowing a rider to create a route based on the data in the off-road trip database. The server system further includes a trail maintenance interface accessible by users affiliated with an authorized group to edit the trail data, trail condition information, and points-of-interest information associated with the authorized group. The server system includes a location data management system configured to receive location data, allowing a rider to publish location information to one or more other riders, and a user feedback interface configured to receive trip data from riders for publication, including information describing an actual route and user data associated with that route.
LENSLESS INSTRUMENT CLUSTER WITH INTEGRATION OF HARD TELLTALES AND HALO LIGHTING PROVIDING A SEAMLESS DISPLAY APPEARANCE
The invention is a robust lensless instrument cluster configured for installation in a vehicle. The instrument cluster comprises an outer case, a PCB and lighting structure, an inner frame, an optical bonding assembly, halo lighting portions, a seamless display comprising tell-tale indicators and gauges, and an outer visor. The instrument cluster further comprises a plurality of LEDs for compartmentalized and indirect lighting of the tell-tale indicators on the seamless display and the halo lighting portions around the edges of the seamless display. Because the instrument cluster is lensless and otherwise exposed to the environment, it comprises a seal system to prevent the ingress of water and dust into the interior components. The seal system can also eliminate the risk of mura in the optical bonding assembly.
Display module
A display module includes a plurality of display panels, a backlight module, a middle frame member, a rear frame member, and a structure. The backlight module includes a plurality of light guide plates disposed in back of the plurality of display panels and a light emitting element disposed around the plurality of light guide plates. The middle frame member is disposed in back of the plurality of display panels and in front of the plurality of light guide plates, and includes a plurality of openings corresponding to the plurality of display panels. The rear frame member is disposed in back of the plurality of light guide plates, and includes a housing that houses the plurality of light guide plates. The structure fixes or positions the plurality of light guide plates to the housing.
DISPLAY DEVICE
A display device 30 displays information of variables that reflect a state of a vehicle 10. The display device 10 includes: a first display region 31 that displays a scale of a first variable; a second display region 32 that is provided to be aligned with the first display region 31 and displays a scale of a second variable; a first pointing portion 42 that points, in the first display region 31, the first variable in accordance with the state of the vehicle 10; a first strip-shaped image 43 that is displayed between a pointed position of the first pointing portion 42 and a start point S1 of the first display region 31; a second pointing portion 52 that points, in the second display region 32, the second variable in accordance with the state of the vehicle 10; and a second strip-shaped image 53 that is displayed between a pointed position of the second pointing portion 52 and a start point S2 of the second display region.
Self adjusting retention feature for applique assembly
A gauge assembly includes a dial face with a scale indicative of a vehicle operating parameter. The dial face includes an opening proximate the scale and an illuminable tick mark that extends through the opening in the dial face with the tick mark being larger than the opening.
