OPERATING DEVICE FOR A VEHICLE
The operating device for a vehicle is provided with a housing having a front face with a receiving opening being delimited by an opening edge, and having a rear wall, and with an operating element being arranged in the receiving opening at a distance from the opening edge thereof and having an operating surface, said operating element having a front face provided with the operating surface, a rear face, and a delimiting edge region. The operating device further comprises a holding element having a bottom wall and support parts which protrude from the bottom wall and end below the delimiting edge region of the operating element and are mechanically coupled to the operating element in the delimiting edge region. The bottom wall of the holding element has a central region which is spaced from the support parts and within which the bottom wall of the holding element is supported against the rear wall of the housing. A manual actuation of the operating element is detected by multiple actuation sensors which are arranged between the bottom wall of the holding element and the rear wall of the housing within the surrounding region that surrounds the central region of the bottom wall of the holding element and is arranged at a distance from the rear wall of the housing. An evaluation unit receives the signals from the actuation sensors and evaluates said signals for the purpose of detecting a manual actuation of the operating element performed with a predefinable minimum pressing force.
Systems And Methods For Eliminating Vehicle Motion Interference During A Remote-Control Vehicle Maneuvering Operation
The disclosure generally pertains to a remote-control vehicle maneuvering system that includes a personal communication device configured to eliminate vehicle motion interference during a remote-control vehicle maneuvering operation. In an example scenario, an individual may stand in a vehicle having a trailer attached (or stand on the trailer) and perform actions upon the personal communication device so as to transmit commands to a vehicle controller of the vehicle for moving the vehicle backwards in a desired direction. The actions performed by the individual may include tilting the personal communication device to command the vehicle controller to increase a speed of the vehicle. While doing so, various factors such as an object on the road, may cause the vehicle to tilt, thereby increasing a tilt angle of the personal communication device and causing the vehicle to accelerate dangerously. The personal communication device is configured to eliminate interference caused by such factors.
Speech filtering in a vehicle
A computer includes a processor and a memory storing instructions executable by the processor to identify an occupant in a passenger cabin of a vehicle, detect a position of a head of the occupant relative to the passenger cabin, apply a first filter to speech from the occupant based on the position of the head, generate a second filter, apply the second filter to the speech, adjust the second filter based on a difference between the speech of the occupant filtered by the second filter and a prestored profile of the occupant, and perform an operation using the speech filtered by the first filter and the second filter.
OPERATION DEVICE AND VEHICLE DOOR
The present invention relates to an operation device which can be easily installed on a vehicle door, and a vehicle door comprising the operation device. An operation device of the present invention comprises: a gripper provided on an inner surface of a door of a vehicle; an operation interface provided on an inner side surface of the gripper for receiving an operation input entered by an occupant to operate at least one in-vehicle device; a first sensor provided on an outer side surface of the gripper for detecting a finger of the occupant; a second sensor provided on at least one of the inner side surface and an upper surface of the gripper for detecting a finger of the occupant; and a controller connected to the operation interface, the first sensor, the second sensor, and the at least one in-vehicle device. The controller controls the at least one in-vehicle device based on a signal from the operation interface when both the first sensor and the second sensor detect the occupant, and prohibits the at least one in-vehicle device from being controlled based on a signal from the operation interface when at least one of the first sensor and the second sensor does not detect the occupant.
Operating arrangement for a construction machine
An operating arrangement for a construction machine comprises an operating device which comprises a touch-sensitive display for inputting operating instructions by an operator, and an operating mask with localization markers. The operating device comprises at least a first alignment feature for aligning the operating mask on the operating device in a pre-defined operating position relative to the operating device. The operating mask is detachably attached to the operating device in the operating position, wherein the operating mask at least partially covers the touch-sensitive display, and wherein the location markers of the operating mask lie over specified areas of the display and facilitate locating the specified areas of the display for inputting instructions.
Vehicle controls and cabin interior devices augmented reality usage guide
Provided is an information providing method in which a terminal apparatus including an imaging unit and a display unit displays, on the display unit, an image of a vehicle interior captured by the imaging unit. A plurality of devices are installed in the vehicle interior and classified into a plurality of types. The information providing method includes an image acquisition step of acquiring the image of the vehicle interior captured by the imaging unit, and a display step of displaying the image on the display unit, and in a case where at least one of the plurality of devices is included in the image, displaying a graphic corresponding to the device in a superimposed manner on the device and also displaying information indicating a type to which the device belongs.
MOBILE KEY USER INTERFACES
The present disclosure generally relates to user interfaces for managing and using a mobile key. In some embodiments, while displaying a representation of a mobile car key on a multifunction device, the device receives a request to restrict use of the mobile car key for a predetermined time period, and in response, restricts at least one function of the mobile car key for the time period.
DRIVER ASSIST INTERFACE IN A VEHICLE
Systems, methods and computer program products that facilitate driver assist interface in a vehicle. A system can include a memory and a processor that executes computer executable components. The computer executable components can include: a monitoring component that monitors driver operation of a vehicle, an analysis component that analyzes the driver operation of the vehicle, a recommendation component that generates real-time recommendations regarding improving at least one of driver turning, accelerating or braking of the vehicle, and an interactive display component that generates a real-time graphical user interface that visually represents the real-time recommendations relative to the driver's current operation of the vehicle.
