Golf club
A golf club comprises: a golf club shaft extending from its first end to second end in its axis direction; a golf club head attached to the second end of the golf club shaft; a grip attach to the first end of the golf club shaft and having a grip end; and a weight member attached to the golf club shaft. The specific gravity of the weight member is 2.5 or more. The length of the weight member is 20 mm or less. The weight member is disposed in a grip-end portion of the golf club shaft so that a mass distribution in the axis direction of the grip-end portion has a local maximum occurring at a position within the grip-end portion, wherein the grip-end portion is defined as extending from the grip end toward the second end by 40 mm in the axis direction.

GOLF CLUB HEADS WITH APERTURES AND METHODS TO MANUFACTURE GOLF CLUB HEADS
Embodiments of golf club heads with apertures and methods to manufacture golf club heads are generally described herein. Other embodiments may be described and claimed.
GOLF CLUB HEADS AND METHODS TO MANUFACTURE GOLF CLUB HEADS
Embodiments of golf club heads and methods to manufacture golf club heads are generally described herein. In one example, a golf club head may include a body portion having a bottom portion with a forward portion; a rear protrusion; a first weight port, a second weight port, and a third weight port at the forward portion; a fourth weight port at the rear protrusion; and a recessed portion separating the forward portion and rear protrusion. The recessed portion may include a plurality of contoured transition regions. An opening in the bottom portion may be defined by the rear protrusion and the plurality of contoured transition regions. A sole insert portion may be coupled to bottom portion to cover the opening. Other examples and embodiments may be described and claimed.
GOLF CLUB HEAD
A golf club head has a hollow portion therein. The golf club head includes a head main body comprising a striking face portion, a crown portion and a sole portion, the head main body being provided with a recess extending in a toe-heel direction of the club head on at least one of the crown portion and the sole portion, and a reinforcing rod being fixed to the recess and extending in the toe-heel direction of the club head.
Golf club heads
Some disclosed golf club heads include body having at least one raised sole portion and a cantilevered ledge extending down around a perimeter of the club head below the level of the raised sole portion. Some disclosed golf club heads include one or more sole openings in the body and a sole insert that is mounted inside the body over the sole openings. The sole can include weight tracks as well, and a rear weight track can extend between a toe side sole opening and a heel side sole opening. A crown insert can also be included that is mounted over an upper opening in the body.

Co-molded golf putter with integral interlocking features
Embodiments of a co-molded putter-type golf club head comprising a high-density chassis made of a first material and a low-density putter-type body made of a second material. The first material can be a high density metal (i.e., steel or tungsten, but not limited to). The second material can be a low density thermoplastic composite (i.e., polyphenylene sulfide (PPS), polyamide (PA), but not limited to). The chassis comprises a flow aperture, and one or more interlocking features. The putter-type body portion encases the entirety of the at least one interlocking feature. Further, the putter-type body encapsulates the chassis such that the body extends through, and completely fills the flow aperture, to interlock the body and chassis, and thus form the club head. Other embodiments may be described and claimed.
