Parking signaling system
A system is disclosed to communicate in vehicular traffic an intention of a driver of a vehicle to execute a parallel parking maneuver. The system includes a display generating a signal to indicate to other drivers the intention to execute the parallel parking maneuver to either a left side of the vehicle or a right side of the vehicle. The signal is distinct from and in addition to a turn signal for the vehicle indicating an intended left turn or right turn. Embodiments of the disclosed system include an illuminated word parallel, arrows pointing both right and left and forward and backward, a determination to a particular open space based upon an orientation of a head of the driver, and a laser emitter providing a second indication to onlookers to a parking space.
DISPLAY DEVICE
A display device includes a liquid crystal panel providing a display surface where an image is displayed, a backlight emitting light to the liquid crystal panel from behind, a real object placed between the liquid crystal panel and the backlight and visible through the liquid crystal panel, and a controller controlling the liquid crystal panel such that a specific pixel region of the display surface behind which the real object is positioned is higher in light transmittance than another pixel region of the display surface.
Vehicle and Information Output Method Therefor
An information output method includes determining, when a first condition is satisfied, whether a second or a third condition related to a pop-up in a first form from a time point of ignition off is satisfied, and setting at least one first pop-up request corresponding to the pop-up in the first form to a second pop-up request corresponding to a pop-up in a second form output during ignition on when the second condition or the third condition is satisfied, wherein whether the second condition is satisfied is determined in consideration of a number of first pop-up requests expected at the time point of ignition off, and whether the third condition is satisfied is determined in consideration of the number of first pop-up requests which are not displayed as pop-ups in the first form after ignition off from previously generated first pop-up requests.
Optical film, fabrication method thereof, windshield and driving apparatus
An optical film, a fabrication method thereof, a windshield, and a driving apparatus, which pertains to the field of in-vehicle devices. The optical film includes a birefringent layer. The birefringent layer splits light transmitted through the optical film into two light beams, and exit directions of the two light beams are different from each other. A head up display is disposed above an instrument panel, and the optical film is disposed on a windshield. Light incident into an automobile through the windshield is split into two light beams. By adjusting relative positions of the head up display and the optical film, it is possible to enable only one of the light beams to be incident into the head up display. Since the total amount of light entering the head up display is reduced, the temperature rise inside the head up display can be mitigated.
Electrified Motor Vehicle With a Display Unit for Displaying at Least One Residual Range
An electrified motor vehicle includes a display unit for displaying at least one residual range, a high-voltage accumulator, and at least one electronic control unit which determines an expected minimum range on the basis of the state of charge of the high-voltage accumulator and which determines, on the basis of the temperature of the high-voltage accumulator and the state of charge of the high-voltage accumulator, a temperature-dependent bonus range which is displayed instead of the minimum range if the minimum range has dropped to zero.
DISPLAY DEVICE
A display device (40) that displays information of a plurality of variables that reflect a state of a vehicle, the display device (40) including: a first meter image (41) including a first scale displaying (42) part that displays a scale of a first variable included in the plurality of variables and an indicating part (43) that indicates the first variable that varies with the state of the vehicle and rotating the first scale displaying part (42) in accordance with variation of the first variable, fixing the position of the indicating part (43); and a second meter image (44) including a second scale displaying part (45) that displays a scale of a second variable included in the plurality of variables and a displaying part (46) that displays the second variable that varies with the state of the vehicle, wherein the first meter image (41) and the second meter image (44) are adjacent to each other.
DISPLAY SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR A RECREATIONAL VEHICLE
The present application discloses systems and methods to present information to recreational vehicle riders and to provide customizable visual information to recreational vehicle riders. The present application further discloses systems and methods to connect and transmit audio information between a driver portable communication device and a driver audio interface device through the recreational vehicle and audio information between a passenger portable communication device and a passenger audio interface device.
Glare and occluded view compensation for automotive and other applications
Often when there is a glare on a display screen the user may be able to mitigate the glare by tilting or otherwise moving the screen or changing their viewing position. However, when driving a car there are limited options for overcoming glares on the dashboard, especially when you are driving for a long distance in the same direction. Embodiments are directed to eliminating such glare. Other embodiments are related to mixed reality (MR) and filling in occluded areas.
SADDLED VEHICLE
A saddled vehicle includes an information display unit (37) that displays information on a preceding vehicle (B1) which an own vehicle (M) follows when traveling, wherein a positional relationship between the own vehicle (M) and the preceding vehicle (B1) is recognized, and, in a case in which a change occurs in the positional relationship, a display mode of the preceding vehicle (B1) on the information display unit (37) is changed.
