Non-fluorocarbon compositions for providing enhanced fluid repellency on various surfaces, including for laundry treatments in a finishing step of a laundry process, are disclosed. Non-fluorocarbon laundry treatment compositions and compositions including the non-fluorocarbon chemistries and a substrate surface are also disclosed along with methods of using the same in a laundry application.

An aqueous foaming composition effective in preventing and/or inhibiting formation of aerosols from the rebound of a liquid on a surface, particularly from the rebound of urine on an external and/or internal surface of a toilet is provided. The aqueous foaming composition comprises at least one betaine, at least one anionic surfactant, at least one dialkyl carbonate, at least one fatty alcohol with a linear or branched, saturated or unsaturated alkyl chain containing at least 4 carbon atoms, at least one fatty acid ester with a linear or branched, saturated or unsaturated alkyl chain containing at least 4 carbon atoms and, optionally, at least one pH regulator, at least one deodorizing substance and/or a propellant gas.

A method for washing of car/vehicle/transportation means and braking device using an aerosol composition containing (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene and gas propellant which is N.sub.2, compressed air, CO.sub.2, argon, or a mixture of two or more thereof.

The present invention relates to a two component composition and a method for depositing a water-soluble film on a surface. The present two component composition comprises a first component comprising at least one, two, three or more or all first surfactants and water and a second component comprising at least one, two, three or more or all second surfactants and water, wherein contacting the first component a) and the second component b) causes forming of the water-soluble film. Also the present invention relates to a water-soluble film preferably a cleaning gel obtained or obtainable by a method according to the invention.

A substrate treating method, liquid and apparatus are provided which can reduce the amount of sublimable substance used for the drying of a substrate while reducing the collapse of pattern. The substrate treating method includes a step of supplying a liquid to the pattern-formed surface of the substrate, a step of solidifying the liquid on the pattern-formed surface to form a solidified body and a step of subliming the solidified body so as to remove it from the pattern-formed surface. The substrate treating liquid includes a molten sublimable substance and a solvent, the freezing point of the sublimable substance being higher than the freezing point of the solvent. When the sublimable substance and the solvent are separated, the sublimable substance is settled and in the solidification step, the settled sublimable substance is solidified to have a height equal to or higher than the height of a pattern.

A foaming composition containing a foaming agent that is made up of at least one acid and at least one base. The base and the acid being able to react in the presence of water, producing carbon dioxide. The composition also contains an anionic surfactant. The composition is in the form of a loose powder and in that it contains a mass percentage of the surfactant that is greater than or equal to 3% and is less than or equal to 4%. In particular, the mass percentage of the surfactant is less than 3.5%, and/or a mass percentage of the acid and base mixture is greater than or equal to 90%. The composition allows a foam to be obtained that allows excrement to be hidden, and splashes, rising odors and falling noises to be avoided.

To provide a coating agent for ventilation equipment, which can impart excellent easy cleaning property and can maintain easy cleaning property even in, for example, a high temperature and high humidity environment in kitchen ventilation equipment. A coating agent for kitchen ventilation equipment, which includes an anionic or nonionic surfactant having an alkyl chain, the alkyl chain having 16 or less carbon atoms, and the melting point of the surfactant being 50° C. or higher.

The present disclosure relates to compositions and methods of using the compositions for treating a floor surface. The disclosed compositions clean the floor surface, repair damage, or maintain the original look of the floor. The disclosed compositions also do not provide a permanent finish on the floor, are temporary coatings, or do not significantly change the gloss of the floor after application.

A nonflammable aerosol composition for washing various types of car/vehicle is of low toxicity, which has little environmental impact in terms of depletion of the ozone layer and so forth, which has a washability as good as or better than conventional products such as has been unattained by aqueous products or high-flash-point products, which permits achievement of appropriate drying characteristics, and which, while preventing erosion of rubbers and resins, causes dirt components to be moistened and washed off and away therefrom by the detergent composition, and which permits accommodation of mechanization by virtue of its being capable of being sprayed thereonto from a roughly constant distance therefrom, said aerosol composition for washing is made to contain (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene and gas propellant which is N.sub.2, compressed air, CO.sub.2, argon, or a mixture of two or more thereof.

The sublimable film formation composition of the present invention includes a sublimable substance and a solvent in which a saturation solubility of the sublimable substance is more than 10% by mass.
