OPERATING CONSOLE
An operating console for operating a device includes a display configured as a resistive touch display having a touch surface. A film covers the touch surface and has a function key including a transparent or at least translucent see-through region in an environment, and through which the display is visually perceptible, and includes an arching region, which is tactilely perceptible and can be pressed against the touch surface by the user. A control is devised to display to the user for one or several of the at least one function key by means of the display through the respective see-through region a function of the function key in question. The function varies depending on the operating mode in which a device to be operated by means of the operating console is operated or is to be operated, or depending on the menu type with which the operating console is operated.
OPERATING DEVICE, WORK VEHICLE, AND OPERATION CONTROL METHOD
This operating device includes a dial, a display unit, and an allocation unit. The dial receives a rotational operation. The allocation unit selectively allocates to the dial either an engine operational function to adjust the rotation speed of an engine or a screen operational function to perform an operation according to a screen shown on the display unit. It is preferable that the allocation unit allocates the engine operational function to the dial in response to turning on of a key switch for starting up the engine.
VEHICLE DISPLAY
An identifier for first set of display content on a vehicle display is input to a statistical model that outputs a plurality of probabilities that a user input will select each of a plurality of second set of display contents for display after the first set of display content is displayed. A first probability is identified for a predicted set of display content that is a highest probability in the plurality of probabilities. The plurality of probabilities are provided to at least one of an optimization model and a neural network upon determining an accuracy of the statistical model is below a threshold. Upon receiving, from the at least one of the optimization model and the neural network, a second probability for the predicted set of display content, the display content is selected based on the first and second probabilities. The vehicle display is updated based on the selected set of display content.

An input device provides an improved feeling of operation to a user and allows the user to recognize an operation of a handle by providing haptic feedback by limiting a direction of movement of the handle of the input device provided in a vehicle according to a control item, applying a reaction force to the handle, or generating a vibration. The input device includes the handle that is movable in a first direction and a second direction and a motor that is configured to generate force related to a movement of the handle. A driver is configured to operate the motor. A controller operates the driver to limit a moving direction of the handle to the first direction or the second direction according to a control item controlled by the movement of the handle.

A method for displaying at least one additional item of display content on a display panel which is arranged in an interior of a vehicle, in which at least one sensor is used, using which a spatial corridor in the interior of the vehicle is optically monitored. The spatial corridor is delimited by two virtual boundary surfaces. At least one spatial virtual reference surface is defined in the spatial corridor between the virtual boundary surfaces, to which the at least one additional item of display content is assigned. The at least one sensor is used to detect whether a hand of a user is located in the corridor.
