Device and method for inspecting containers for the presence of foreign matter
Devices and methods for inspecting containers for the presence of foreign matter include, in at least one embodiment, at least one sampling head, at least one pressure sensor, and a filter. The at least one sampling head is configured to introduce an amount of a first fluid into a container and to remove an amount of a second fluid from the container for inspection for the presence of foreign matter. The at least one pressure sensor is configured to measure a pressure of the second fluid upon removal of the second fluid from the container. The filter is arranged in the at least one sampling head and is configured to filter the second fluid.
METHOD FOR DETERMINING A PHOTOPROTECTIVE PERFORMANCE VALUE OF A PACKAGE SYSTEM
The invention provides novel methods to place a complete package system filled with a sample into a light exposure chamber as a complete unit with periodic monitoring of the contents of the packaging system. Through this approach, it can be determined how the components of a complete package system perform collectively to influence its photoprotective performance enabling a first ever method to quantitate these impacts. In turn this will allow for package designs to be optimized for the photoprotection performances, for the impacts of packaging production defects to be explored, and for the influence of packaging form (e.g., surface area to volume ratio) to be determined. Such capabilities allow a first ever means to optimize package systems for photoprotective performance.
Film structure puncture testing tool and method
A film structure puncture testing tool for testing the resistance to puncturing of a film structure for a product package and a method for analyzing film structures resistance to puncturing.
Biological sample reaction box
A biological sample reaction vessel comprising a reagent storage portion and a push rod movable relative to the reagent storage portion is provided. The reagent storage portion comprises at least one reagent containing cavity, and the reagent containing cavity is sealed by a sealing element; and the push rod is connected to the sealing element, and the push rod is used for cooperation with an external device to separate the sealing element from the reagent storage portion. In reaction, the biological sample reaction vessel cooperates with a test cassette. By inserting the biological sample reaction vessel into the external device, the reagent in the reagent storage portion can be released rapidly.
System for exposure to a product in the form of an aerosol and method for evaluating the integrity of a container by means of such a system
The invention relates to an aerosol product exposure system comprising an exposure chamber intended to receive an aerosol product, an aerosol product diffusion device comprising a source of aerosol product to be sprayed connected to an aerosol generator, said aerosol generator cooperating with a desiccator so as to at least partially eliminate the moisture from the aerosol product, at least one supply duct intended to bring the aerosol product into the exposure chamber. Such a system can in particular be used to test the integrity of a container and/or the antimicrobial activity of a product of interest.
QUALITY MONITORING IN A PACKAGING LINE
Information is obtained from a package filling machine, regarding sampling occasions in the form of sampling records. Each sampling record comprises a first time stamp for the sampling occasion, information describing a trigger for the sampling occasion, a number of package samples taken at the sampling occasion, and a second time stamp that specifies when the package samples were taken. Analysis information regarding contaminated package samples is obtained from a package sample analysis system. The sampling records and analysis information are processed to link contaminated package samples with sampling occasions. A table is generated that comprises, for each sampling occasion, the first time stamp, the information that describes a trigger for the sampling occasion, the number of package samples taken at the sampling occasion, the second time stamp and a number of contaminated package samples at the sampling occasion.
Film Structure Puncture Testing Tool And Method
A film structure puncture testing tool for testing the resistance to puncturing of a film structure for a product package and a method for analyzing film structures resistance to puncturing.
Foreign Substance Checking System
To provide a means that is less likely to misidentify a crack as a foreign substance during an image checking in which a vibration is applied to a powder contained in a bag-like container. A foreign substance checking system includes a vibration device configured to apply a vibration to a container, a photography device configured to optically photograph the inside of the container through a transparent region from the outside, and a determination device configured to determine whether a foreign substance is present inside the container based on an image of the container photographed by the photography device. The vibration device includes a rotating shaft and a hammer rotating in conjunction with the rotating shaft and colliding with the container. A portion of an outer surface of the hammer to abut on the container has a flat surface.
TEST METHOD FOR QUALITY EVALUATION AND COATED CONTAINER
A coated container includes: a container having a surface; and a coating applied to at least part of the surface to form a coated surface. Leaching of at least one of one or more types of ions or one or more types of compounds is determined by performing an alkaline treatment on at least part of the coated surface to obtain an alkaline treated surface and performing an acidic treatment on at least part of the alkaline treated surface to obtain an acidic treated surface. The leaching of the at least one of one or more types of ions or one or more types of compounds from the coated surface is 5.00 mg/l or less.
Predicting semiconductor package warpage
A method for predicting the electrical functionality of a semiconductor package, the method includes performing a first stiffness test for a first semiconductor package, receiving failure data for the first semiconductor package, the failure data includes results of an electrical test performed after the first semiconductor package is assembled on a printed circuit board, generating a database comprising results of the first stiffness test as a function of the failure data for the first semiconductor package, performing a second stiffness test for a second semiconductor package, identifying a unique result from the results of the first stiffness test in the database, the unique result aligns with a result of the second stiffness test, and predicting a failure data for the second semiconductor package based on the failure data for the first semiconductor package which corresponds to the unique result of the first stiffness test identified in the database.
