Disclosed is a user interface capable of controlling various functions of a vehicle, and more particularly a vehicle function control system and a control method using a detachable control device. A method of controlling an integrated control unit includes: recognizing a first detachable control device attached to a first attachment position. among at least one attachment position provided. at an attachment unit; establishing a fist data path with. the first detachable control device; transmitting information about a first function. to be controlled corresponding to the first attachment position to the first detachable control device through the first data path; and when receiving first manipulation information from the first detachable control device, controlling the first function to be controlled based on the first manipulation information.
Steering Wheel Interface Module with Retained Presets
A steering wheel control interface module that can automatically detect the type of vehicle it is installed in and automatically detect the type of aftermarket radio it is sending messages to. In addition, the interface module can retain certain user pre-selects and use those to properly set the state of an aftermarket radio.
Head-up display device for vehicle
A head-up display device for a vehicle may include: a housing mounted in a vehicle; a cover covering an entrance of the housing; a driver mounted in the housing; and a combiner coupled to the driver so as to operate separately from the cover, erected from the inside to the outside of the housing so as to display vehicle information, and replaceably assembled in a latch manner.
Smart display sheets
A system includes a vehicle and a smart display sheet adhered to a component of the vehicle or integrally formed into a component of the vehicle, wherein the flexible smart display sheet is capable of displaying at least one image. The system may further include a substrate layer, a display panel disposed on the substrate layer, wherein the display panel is capable of displaying the at least one image, and a protective layer disposed on the display panel capable of protecting the at least one display panel from environmental elements. The system may further include an adhesive or magnetic layer that adheres the smart display sheet to the component of the vehicle.
VEHICULAR DEVICE
A vehicular device includes a control unit, a main board on which the control unit is mounted, and a module that has a functional unit having different specifications depending on a product model of the vehicular device. The module has a module side control unit configured to control the functional unit of the module. The main board and the module are housed in a casing and connected with each other through a common interface regardless of the specifications of the functional unit. The module side control unit is configured to control the functional unit based on a control command received from the control unit, the control command being common regardless of the specifications of the functional unit.
OPERATION PANEL
An operation panel of an electronic equipment includes a panel body having at least two openings that have identical shapes and sizes, at least one dummy cover having a shape and a size that fits to any of the at least two openings that have identical shapes and sizes, and an electronic component that is mounted on the dummy cover.
REMOTELY CONTROLLABLE SNAP-IN HIGH-POWER CONTROL MODULE
A control module with manual switches for controlling the ON/OFF status, brightness, and flashing pattern of a high-power variable current electrical device. The control module is intended for use with the interlocking modular frames of U.S. patent application Ser. No. 15949518, but may be used with other switch panels as well. The control module also includes at least one radio transceiver configured to receive communications from a smartphone application for controlling a high-power variable current electrical device attached to the control module. In some embodiments, the smartphone application may provide more control options than are provided by the manual switches on the front of the control module.
Modular entertainment control system of snap-mounted multi-functional modules within a modular mounting frame
Multi-functional audio and lighting devices are enclosed in snap-in modules adapted to fit in industry standard rocker switch panels. Each module has at least two functional parts. Included are auxiliary audio jacks, with USB charging ports and with or without a voltmeter; a Bluetooth transceiver with pairing and volume controls; an FM radio receiver with channel scan and a channel display; a single (dual-function) knob audio controller; a push-button audio controller; and an RGB LED controller with color, flash, and speed controls. A modular rocker switch panel that can be configured for two or more switches is presented. Various numbers and types of multi-function modules can be configured in a panel to customize an entertainment system. The modules are preferably marine grade and may have optional tethered water resistant covers.
VEHICLE FUNCTION CONTROL APPARATUS AND METHOD USING A DETACHABLE KNOB
A vehicle function control apparatus and method use a detachable knob. The vehicle function control method includes determining, by an integrated manipulation unit, a target attachment position on an attachment unit having a plurality of attachment positions, sensing the position of a detachable knob having at least one magnet and a manipulation means on the attachment unit, and controlling a plurality of electromagnets disposed so as to correspond to the plurality of attachment positions such that the detachable knob is moved from the sensed position to the target attachment position, among the plurality of attachment positions.
