A digital instrument display method includes generating bitmap font image and font table for font; running application module; running graphic engine module; running content module; transmitting, by sensor unit attached to vehicle, the generated signals to application module; analyzing, by application module, information received, and generating external event data; reading, by content module, external event data stored in internal memory for each frame and determining whether data are character string output; if data are character string output, transmitting, by content module, corresponding character string information to graphic engine module; acquiring, by graphic engine module, position and size information of bitmap font image that matches character string in bitmap font table; and copying, by control unit, position and size information of bitmap font image that matches character string acquired and displaying character string through instrument display unit using graphic engine module and graphic library.

An information display device includes an information acquisition unit configured to acquire information; a position acquisition unit configured to acquire position information indicating a position of the information display device; a determination unit configured to determine an output mode for the information acquired by the information acquisition unit based on the position information acquired by the position acquisition unit; a conversion unit configured to convert the information acquired by the information acquisition unit based on the output mode determined by the determination unit; and an output unit configured to output the information converted by the conversion unit based on the output mode determined by the determination unit. The determination unit is configured to determine, as the output mode, a display mode complying with laws and regulations applicable to the position of the information display device based on the position information.

The control method of the present invention is a control method for controlling a vehicle using an agent module which outputs a dialogue-type response to an input speaking of an occupant, the method including: activating the agent module through a predetermined input; generating a first dialogue with the occupant through an activated voice input unit; maintaining the first dialogue in a temporary stored state for a preset period of time; and loading the first dialogue in the temporary stored state when a call command for the first dialogue is recognized, and generating a second dialogue when the call command for the first dialogue is recognized after elapse of the preset period of time.

Disclosed is a control method. A dashboard device of a vehicle includes a storage component and a processor. The storage component stores a plurality of different language packs and a first national table listing a first number of unique language indices associated respectively with the language packs. The processor is coupled to the storage component and is programmed to, in response to receipt of a machine code and a second number related to another plurality of unique language indices from a portable electronic device, use one of the language packs to set language used on the dashboard device based on content of the machine code and a relationship between the first and second numbers.
