Head up display for vehicle
Provided is a head up display for a vehicle. The head up display for the vehicle may include an imaging mechanism for emitting a linearly-polarized light in a first direction and a linearly-polarized light in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction, a first reflection mirror for reflecting a light to a windshield of the vehicle, a polarization reflection mirror spaced apart from the first reflection mirror wherein the polarization reflection mirror transmits the linearly-polarized light in the first direction and reflects the linearly-polarized light in the second direction, and a second reflection mirror spaced apart from the polarization reflection mirror wherein the second reflection mirror reflects the light transmitted through the polarization reflection mirror to the polarization reflection mirror. The imaging mechanism may include a separating partition for preventing mutual interference between the linearly-polarized light in the first direction and the linearly-polarized light in the second direction.
VEHICLE INSTRUMENT PANEL ASSEMBLY
An instrument panel assembly for a vehicle includes an instrument panel body including a driver-side portion, a center stack portion, and a passenger-side portion. A cross-car beam assembly is configured to at least partially support the instrument panel body and includes a horizontal member extending across at least the passenger-side portion of the instrument panel body. A first lower reinforcement bracket is spaced apart from the horizontal member and extends across the passenger-side portion of the instrument panel body. A second lower reinforcement bracket is coupled with the first lower reinforcement bracket. A vertical reinforcement bracket extends between the horizontal member and the first and second lower reinforcement brackets. The vertical reinforcement bracket includes a curved portion proximate a first end and coupled with the horizontal member. A second end of the vertical reinforcement bracket is coupled with at least one of the first and second lower reinforcement brackets.
OPERATING DEVICE
An operating device includes a lock mechanism unit that regulates relative movement of an operating unit with respect to a supporting member, and a controller that releases locking of the lock mechanism unit when input of an operator is detected by an operation detector. When contact of a finger with a surface panel is detected by a first detection member, locking of the operating unit by the lock mechanism unit is released. In addition, when a pressing operation to the operating unit is detected by a second detection member, control is performed so that a response force providing mechanism operates.
In-flight entertainment systems and monitor assemblies for in-flight entertainment systems
The present disclosure relates to a monitor assembly for IFE systems. The monitor assembly comprises a screen assembly, a frame element that surrounds a perimeter of the screen or substantial portions thereof, and a cradle that is positioned behind the screen and at least partially encapsulates the frame element. The frame element is preferably made of a material that breaks more easily than the cradle material such that, upon an impact, the frame will break apart to absorb kinetic energy, while the cradle will remain intact and contain the broken frame pieces.
MEMBER ATTACHMENT STRUCTURE
A member attachment structure, in which an attachment member is attached to an attachment receiving plate portion formed on an attachment receiving member, is provided. The attachment member includes an attachment body portion, and an insertion portion configured to be inserted into a wide hole of the attachment receiving plate portion. The insertion portion includes an insertion body portion, and a sandwiching portion configured to sandwich a sandwiched portion of the attachment receiving plate portion together with the attachment body portion from both sides in the height direction. A recess n is formed in one of the attachment member and the attachment receiving plate portion, and a protrusion is formed in the other. One of the attachment member and the attachment receiving plate portion is provided with a locking portion locked to a locked portion provided on the other of the attachment member and the attachment receiving plate portion.
Lightweight cowl crossbar for vehicle
A lightweight cowl crossbar may include a cowl cross beam of connecting transversely side frames disposed on both sides of a vehicle body; side fastening portions to be coupled to both end portions of the cowl cross beam; a support leg positioned at a center portion of the cowl cross beam and configured to be supported to a front vehicle body of a vehicle; and a reinforcing bracket of integrally connecting the support leg and the cowl cross beam wherein the components mentioned above are constructed integrally from a plastic material.
Adaptive auto meter detection method based on character segmentation and cascade classifier
An adaptive automobile meter detection method based on character segmentation cascade classifier which processes threshold segmentation, morphology and connected components analysis on the original image; extracts the pointer based on the contour analysis method, establishes a pointer information list; constructs a character segmentation cascade classifier by combining a HOG/SVM character segmentation classifier, a character filter and a CNN digit classifier. The character segmentation cascade classifiers is used to identify the digit character area of the automobile meter. Region analysis is performed to extract tick marks based on the center of the digit character area. The angular position corresponding to the tick mark is determined. The response value corresponding to the pointer is determined by establishing the Newton interpolation linear description relationship between the pointer angle and the response value and then the meter is classified as pass or fail. The invention is suitable for the field of visual inspection of automobile meter pointers.
