MERGING TRANSPORTATION PODS ONTO TRANSPORTATION LINES
Merging transportation pods onto transportation lines. A method includes requesting movement information associated with a set of transportation pods that will pass a junction. The method also includes determining whether to merge from the second transportation line to the first transportation line via the junction at the first time based on the movement information. The method further includes merging from the second transportation line to the first transportation line at the junction at the first time, in response to determining that the first transportation pod should merge from the second transportation line to the first transportation line via the junction at the first time.
DEVICE FOR DISPLAYING A COURSE OF A PROCESS OF AT LEAST ONE RAILWAY SAFETY UNIT, AND RAILWAY SAFETY SYSTEM HAVING SUCH A DEVICE
A device displays a course of a process of at least one railway safety unit. While using at least one device controller, process data supplied by the at least one railway safety unit, are converted by dual-channel processing into first and second image data of the course of the process to be displayed. The image data are output to be displayed on a data display unit. In order to simplify the displaying of the course of the process, a pair of display spectacles having a first and a second display is used as a data display unit. The first display displays a first representation of the first image data delivered thereto that is visually detectable by the right eye, and the second display displays a second representation of the second image data delivered thereto that is visually detectable by the left eye.
ARRANGEMENT OF PARALLEL MAINTENANCE LINES FOR RAILWAY WAGONS
Disclosed is a method for arranging parallel maintenance lines for railway wagons, including: (1) obtaining design information of the parallel maintenance lines; (2) initially designing the parallel maintenance lines; where the maintenance lines comprise a disassembly line and an assembly line parallel to each other, and the disassembly line and the assembly line are connected through a track; (3) establishing a multi-objective mathematical model for solving a parallel maintenance line balancing problem, where the multi-objective mathematical model comprises a first model for minimizing the number of workstations, a second model for minimizing an idle time of the workstations and a third model for minimizing the number of maintenance resources; and (4) obtaining a feasible solution using an intelligent optimization algorithm.
Method and device for displaying a course of a process of at least one railway safety unit, and railway safety system having such a device
A method displays a course of a process of at least one railway safety unit. While using at least one device control, process data supplied by the at least one railway safety unit, are converted by dual-channel processing into first and second image data of the course of the process to be displayed. The image data are output to be displayed on a data display unit. In order to simplify the displaying of the course of the process, a pair of display spectacles having a first and a second display is used as a data display unit. Ground apparatus
A ground apparatus system performs polling communication in which ground apparatuses are set as primary stations and trains are set as secondary stations. The ground apparatus stores a train list of train IDs of trains to be managed. The ground apparatus acquires, train information including train location information from the train to determine a train location of each train included in the train list. The ground apparatus calculates a coming-in allowable range of each train to generate traveling control information, and transmits the traveling control information to the train. The ground apparatus updates the train list by adding a train ID of a train that comes in a radio communication control region of the ground apparatus and deleting a train ID of a train that goes out from the radio communication control region by performing handover control of the trains to be managed with an adjacent ground apparatus.
TRAFFIC NETWORK AND METHOD FOR OPERATING RAIL VEHICLES IN A TRAFFIC NETWORK
A method for operating rail vehicles in an operational area of a traffic network that is shared with traffic participants other than the rail vehicles. The rail vehicles communicate with line elements arranged in the operational area. Here, the rail vehicles and the line elements use a V2X standard for communication between each other within the shared operational area. In an operational area that is reserved for the rail vehicles, the rail vehicles communicate with the line elements via a communication standard that is different from the V2X standard.
TERMINAL DEVICE, CENTRAL DEVICE, TRAIN INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, AND TRAIN INFORMATION MANAGEMENT METHOD
A terminal device which receives command information from a central device in a train information management system, includes a transmission-reception unit which transmits and receives the command information to and from the central device or other terminal device and periodically receives command information from a plurality of central devices, a control unit which determines whether or not management information, which is information on a train composition set by a central device which is a transmission source, regarding the received command information, is normal command information and determines command information to be adopted based on a priority set to the central device which is the transmission source when receiving the normal command information from the plurality of central devices, and a storage unit which stores information on the priorities set to the plurality of central devices.

METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE CIRCULATION OF VEHICLES IN A NETWORK
The invention relates to a method for controlling the circulation of vehicles in a network controlled by a control system managing the circulation of communicating vehicles according to a first mode, the first mode managing the movement of the communicating vehicle toward the end terminal of a first section in which a non-communicating vehicle has been detected by implementing a discrimination step eliminating any protection zone located the moving vehicle, when a distance between the communicating vehicle and said end terminal is smaller than a threshold, the method comprising switching into a second mode, when the communicating vehicle enters the first section, the second mode inhibiting the implementation of the discrimination step at least in the first section.
