METHOD FOR IN-SITU AND REAL-TIME COLLECTION AND PROCESSING OF GEOMETRIC PARAMETERS OF RAILWAY LINES
A method for in-situ and real-time collection and processing of geometric parameters of railway lines, in a particular but non-limiting manner to those related to the height and stagger of the contact wire in electrified lines and the gauges to specific elements of the infrastructure in any line, generated based on static measurements starting from two-dimensional scenes perpendicular to the track axis, by determining the number of angular positions per scene, determining the minimum number of passes in each position, obtaining the raw coordinates, applying an averaging algorithm, applying offset corrections, transforming coordinates and applying either the steps to salve for height and stagger of the overhead contact line, or applying the steps to salve for gauges to specific elements of the infrastructure. An optimized, efficient and simple method is achieved which enables the real-time management and processing of the data obtained from the railway infrastructure.

Image-Based Vehicle Evaluation for Non-compliant Elements
A solution for evaluating passing vehicles can include one or more imaging devices and a computing unit for processing image data acquired by the imaging device(s). The imaging devices can acquire image data that enables the computing unit to accurately identify a location of an element of the vehicle in an area that includes a region in which the passing vehicle is located and a restricted region in which no element or portion of an element of the passing vehicle should be unnecessarily located. The computing unit can classify any element at least partially located within the restricted region and initiate an action when such an element is not classified into a category of elements that is necessary to be located within the restricted region.

Arrangement having a safety-related system and method for the protected operation thereof by means of a remote query
An arrangement has a technical system, in particular a safety-related system, and a control device which controls the system and can change the technical state of the system by use of control commands. An interface device to be connected to the control device is provided. The interface device forms an external interface for connection to an external remote query device. The interface device has a checking device which is configured in such a manner that it checks a received remote query signal for the presence of a query command stored as permissible in the interface device. In the event of permissibility, the interface device forwards only the query command to the control device and blocks the forwarding of the remote query signal as such or all other control commands which are not query commands stored as permissible.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DETECTING AN INTRUDER ON TRACKS
A track intrusion detection system for detecting the presence of human-size intruders in a path of a railway vehicle is disclosed. The track intrusion detection system includes at least one-track module for each entrance of a tunnel railway and a server. Each track module includes at least two sensors and a signal processing unit to indicate the presence of human intruders in the area scanned by the at least two sensors. The system utilizes both measured distance and reflectivity compared with previously recorded distance and reflectivity in an empty tunnel, to assess the presence of a human-size intruder. A predefined masked area may be excluded from alert.
System and method for continuous welded rail risk modeling
A system for modeling risk of rail buckling in railroad infrastructure is presented. The system can receive a myriad of data related to railroad tracks and/or railroad operations, and weight the data using specially-designed weighting factors that can be unique to each data type. The weighted data can be transformed via specialized algorithms to generate location scores reflective of a risk isolated to a particular area. The system can further utilize additional specialized algorithms to elucidate how such isolated risk can be extrapolated from one location to another. The system can implement a multilayer approach, formulating one or more layers of risk models and aggregating such models into an overarching risk model that can more-accurately forecast risk of rail buckling in a railroad track.
Signal redundancy control system and method used for turnout system and computer readable storage medium
The invention provides a signal redundancy control system. The system includes multiple first signal collecting devices, second signal collecting devices and a controller, wherein the multiple first signal collecting devices are configured to collect the dynamic information of default devices where the first signal collecting devices are located in real time; one second signal collecting device corresponding to each of the first signal collecting devices is disposed on each default device, and is configured to collect the dynamic information of the default device where the second signal collecting device is located in real time; the controller is configured to determine whether the first signal collecting devices include fault information or not, and positions each default device according to the dynamic information acquired by the first signal collecting devices or the second signal collecting devices.
Cyber security anonymizer
A cyber security system for providing security to a railway, the system comprising: a data monitoring and processing hub; a network comprising a plurality of data collection agents synchronized to a same network clock and configured to monitor railway infrastructure devices and onboard devices of rolling stock having a train communication network (TCN), and forward monitored data to the hub for processing by the hub to detect anomalies in railway operation that are indicative of a cyber-attack; at least one anonymizer configured to scrub information items from data that the hub receives from a data collection agent of the plurality of data collection agents which may be used to identify the cyber security system or the railway for which the system provides security.
