Powered Wheelbarrow Assembly
20210291885 · 2021-09-23 ·

A powered wheelbarrow assembly includes a wheelbarrow that includes a frame and a bucket that is hingedly coupled to the frame. A pair of front wheels is each rotatably coupled to the frame to roll on a support surface. A pair of rear wheels is each pivotally coupled to the frame to roll on the support surface. Each of the rear wheels is rotatable about a vertical axis for steering the wheelbarrow. A motor is coupled to the frame and a drive unit is movably coupled to the frame. The drive unit is in mechanical communication between the motor and the front wheels such that the motor rotates the front wheels when the motor is engaged. In this way the motor reduces the effort required to transport a load in the wheelbarrow. A clutch is movably coupled to the frame for engaging and disengaging the drive unit.

EXTRA LARGE TOTE WITH WHEELS AND LID COMBINATION

A tote has a hollow main body, a plurality of wheels, and an axle. The hollow main body has a plurality of side walls and a base wall. The base wall defines an open top and a cavity. The open top is circumscribed by a rim. The open top is configured to be covered by a lid. The base wall is bounded by the plurality of side walls. The base wall also includes a pair of outer wheel wells and a central wheel well. The central wheel well is disposed between the outer wheel wells and separated from the outer wheel wells by axle supports. Each of the plurality of wheels is disposed in one of the outer wheel wells and the central wheel well. The axle is connected to each of the wheels. The axle is rotatably supported by the axle supports of the hollow main body.

An animal enclosure for housing or transporting an animal such as a dog includes a kennel body having a top side, a bottom side opposite the top side, a front side, a back side opposite the front side, a right side and a left side opposite the right side. The animal enclosure includes a lower rear edge at the intersection between the back side and the bottom side. First and second wheels are passively disposed along the lower rear edge when the animal enclosure is in a resting position. A user can move the animal enclosure by lifting up the front edge of the kennel body, causing the first and second wheels to engage a surface on which the kennel rests. Once the wheels are engaged, a user may then maneuver the kennel in a tilted position using the first and second wheels as a rolling fulcrum.

Wheeled Pulk and Associated Systems

Described herein is a wheeled pulk and related systems. The wheeled pulk has a trailer with a base and a wheel, and a towing assembly to connect the trailer to a propulsion means at an attachment location. In a wheel mode, the pulk can rotate around an axis of rotation formed between the bottom of the wheel and the location where the wheeled pulk is attached to the propulsion means. By keeping the center of gravity of the pulk lower than this axis of rotation, the pulk may be more stable and easier to use.
