A cart with powered folding and unfolding capability is provided. The cart has a cradle for holding a load, a frame supporting said cradle, said frame including a U-shaped leg member defining a pair of free ends connected to said cradle and a cross-bar end connected to a pair of wheels for ground engagement to enable said cart to roll along the ground, at least one leg pivot motor coupled to said leg member to enable powered folding of said leg member with respect to said cradle. The cart has a battery disposed on said cradle to power said leg pivot motor to enable powered folding and unfolding of said leg member. The cart also has an actuator disposed on said frame to initiate powered folding or unfolding of said leg member. Such a cart may also include a pair of auxiliary legs which are capable of powered folding.

The at least one attachment can be one or more pairs of hooks of different sizes interchangeably and removably attached to the collapsible container. The attachment assembly includes an attachment bracket secured to the collapsible container that forms one or more pairs of spaced-apart predetermined attachment locations for the one or more pairs of hooks.

Method and apparatus for holding containers open

In some embodiments, systems, apparatuses and methods are provided herein that are useful for holding containers open. For example, in some forms a cart accessory and cart are disclosed herein with an apparatus for holding open a receptacle or container. In one form, the apparatus is an accessory including an elongated body having a cart attachment mechanism for securing the cart accessory to at least a portion of a cart, a receptacle securing mechanism connected to the elongated body via a tether, the receptacle securing mechanism being movable between a retracted position wherein the securing mechanism is positioned proximate the elongated body and an extended position wherein the securing mechanism is spaced apart from the elongated body closer to at least a portion of a receptacle to assist in holding open the receptacle when connected thereto. In another form a cart is disclosed having such a container holding apparatus.

The rack may be adapted for fastening or locking engagement to a shopping cart and may feature any suitable fastener or locking mechanism, and it may be rigid or collapsible, or completely removable from the shopping cart.

A bag dispenser for use in a retail store is described. The bag dispenser holds and dispenses bags from a roll of plastic bags such as grocery bags, meat bags, or produce bags. The bag dispenser includes a bag holder rod that holds the roll of bags and allows the roll of bags to rotate on the bag holder rod in order to dispense bags. The bag dispenser also includes a bag separator that facilitates separation of a bag from the roll. The bag dispenser also includes a rod coupler that couples the bag dispenser to a rod, such as a rod of a shopping cart, a rod of a shopping cart basket or a rod of a pick-up basket, for example. The bag dispenser quickly and easily dispenses bags so that an employee of the retail store does not waste time and effort obtaining a bag.
