The smart shopping cart includes a basket and a plurality of wheels secured to a lower surface of a lower wall of the basket. A lower end of a hanger pole is mounted to an upper surface of the lower wall of the basket, and the hanger pole extends upwardly. At least one article hanger is mounted on the hanger pole. A lower end of a support is mounted to a rear end of the basket, and a first display panel is mounted on the upper end of the support. A second display panel is mounted on a front end of the basket, and a handle for pushing the smart shopping cart is attached to the upper end of the support.
Physical shopping cart having features for use in customer checkout of items placed into the shopping cart
Physical shopping carts can have product detection systems and associate physical shopping carts with mobile computing devices (e.g., smartphones, tablet computing devices, smart watches, wearable computing devices). For example, physical shopping carts can be equipped with one or more product detection systems (e.g., scanners, sensors, cameras) that can electronically tally products that are placed in physical shopping carts. Mobile computing devices can be associated with and mounted on the physical shopping carts to provide a variety of enhanced shopping cart features not possible with conventional physical shopping carts, such as electronically tracking the contents of a shopping cart, checking-out from the mobile computing device (instead of at conventional check-out areas, such as point of sale terminals), and others.
BATTERY POWERED WORKSTATION CART FOR ORDER FULFILLMENT
Mobile battery powered workstation carts for order fulfillment are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a battery powered workstation cart may comprise a wheeled cart having a frame, a rechargeable lithium battery, a computer, a barcode reader/scanner, a RFID reader/scanner, a printer, an artificial intelligence hub, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), and/or GPS. The frame may also comprise two side bracket arms and/or shelves, which may be modular to receive various different sized baskets, bins, or totes therein to expedite retail order fulfillment.
POWER RECEIVING DEVICE, POWER SUPPLY DEVICE, AND POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM
A shopping cart and a shopping cart system are provided. A shopping cart includes a cart body having one or more wheels, a non-contact power receiving device, and a cleaning member. The non-contact power receiving device is mounted on a bottom portion of the cart body. The non-contact power receiving device has a power receiving surface region on a bottom surface thereof. The cleaning member is provided at the bottom portion of the cart body. The cleaning member extends downward beyond the bottom surface of the non-contact power receiving device and is provided closer to a front end of the cart body than is the power receiving surface.
Nestable shopping trolley
A nestable shopping trolley (10) comprising a basket (100) defining an interior space and having a hingable wall (120) formed by a flap (125) having a first horizontal hinge (500) enabling the flap to rotate into the interior space. The nestable shopping trolley (10) also comprises a first shelf 600 having a supporting surface (605), a stowed position and a horizontal position. The nestable shopping trolley (10) also comprises a second horizontal hinge (620) connecting the first shelf 600 to a first side wall (140) of the basket (100), wherein the second horizontal hinge (620) enables movement of the first shelf (600) between the stowed and horizontal positions. The present invention also provides a kit for adapting a basket (100) of a nestable shopping trolley (10) and a method of adapting a basket (100) of a nestable shopping trolley (10).
Telescoping cart apparatus and method
A telescoping cart apparatus and method consists of a carrier configured to include receptacles for carrying cleaning materials. A carry handle is connected with the carrier where the carry handle is connected across the middle of the carrier. A divider is connected beneath the carry handle and is connected with the carrier such that the divider creates two separate sections of the carrier. Telescoping support legs are connected with the carrier where the telescoping support legs are adjustable from a retracted position within the carrier to an extended position outside of the carrier. An extendable adjustment handle is connected with the carrier. A button in the carry handle where the button is connected with the telescoping support legs for adjusting the positions of the telescoping support legs and wheels connected with the telescoping support legs.
Shopping cart
A cart includes a chassis and attached wheels; an upper basket attached to the chassis; and a lower basket attached to the chassis. In some embodiments, the cart includes no widthwise push bar in a rear of the cart such that access is unobstructed to the upper and lower baskets from the rear of the cart by a person. In some embodiments, the chassis defines on each lateral side of the cart a pair of vertically spaced handles, each handle surrounding and defining an opening. The handles preferably include handle bars shaped in an oval. On each cart side a curved elongate member extends between and connects the handles, and the curved elongate members represent the rearmost part of the cart. The rear area of the upper basket defines a seat for an infant, and a rear ledge of the lower basket defines a seat for a toddler.
INTERFACING WHEELCHAIRS WITH WHEELED APPARATUSES
Devices described in this disclosure can interconnect a wheelchair with another wheeled apparatus. For example, this document describes interfacing devices that releasably receive the front wheels of a wheelchair and the rear wheels of another wheeled apparatus in such a way that a user of the wheelchair can conveniently maneuver the wheeled apparatus in conjunction with the operation of the wheelchair.
