The three top hooks couple the shopping cart bagging station to a shopping cart. The three bottom hooks hold shopping bags. By using the shopping cart bagging station, a customer does not have to visit a checkout station to have their purchased items bagged.

The body is movable between an unfolded use configuration and a folded storage configuration. A pair of wheels is attached to the pair of back wing panels and the pair of auxiliary panels by a pair of wheel brackets.

The rack is substantially planar and features a plurality of receiving spaces, substantially circular in shape, and of varying sizes, adapted to engage or restrain the bottles in only one place or in only one plane. The rack may be adapted for fastening or locking engagement to a shopping cart and may feature any suitable fastener or locking mechanism, and it may be rigid or collapsible, or completely removable from the shopping cart.

An example customer assistance system and associated methods are described. The example customer assistance system includes a shopping cart, a customer assistance unit mounted on the shopping cart, and a location system disposed remotely from the shopping cart and the customer assistance unit. The customer assistance unit includes a light source oriented upwards relative to horizontal, and an actuator for actuating the light source into an illumination position. In the illumination position, the light source projects a light beam over the shopping cart. The locating system includes at least one image capturing device configured to scan a ceiling for the light beam and to determine a source location of the shopping cart based on a ceiling location of the light beam.
