The multiple child shopping cart extension preferably comprises a frame structure and a plurality of frame securing elements, for securing said multiple child shopping cart extension to said shopping cart frame. The frame structure preferably comprises a base unit and two side rail portions, affixed at opposing sides of the base unit at a bottom end of said frame structure. The multiple child shopping cart extension may also have a seat unit and a safety strap.
Dished caster wheel pocket for a platform or dolly
The present invention provides a dolly having a polygonal-shaped platform having an upper surface, a lower surface, a peripheral edge having four corners, a torus-shaped pocket positioned at each corner and dimensioned to receive a wheel from an adjacent dolly, and a plurality of wheels extending from the lower surface and attached thereto.
MOTORIZED CART RETRIEVER FOR MONITORING CART STATUS
A motorized cart retriever, which may be a cart pusher or a cart puller, can apply a force to a nest of human-propelled, wheeled carts to facilitate retrieval of the carts. The cart retriever can include a transceiver configured to wirelessly receive cart status information from cart transmitters of the wheeled carts and wirelessly report event data to a control unit. The cart status information may include an identification of the cart transmitter, a location of the cart, a lock or unlock status of a cart wheel, a misuse condition, etc. The event data can include the cart status information, a number of wheeled carts being retrieved, etc. The cart wheel may include a brake. The transceiver may communicate a message to the cart wheel to keep the brake unactuated during retrieval. The control unit may analyze the event data to detect traffic patterns of the carts.
Shipping Trolley For Self-Service Shopping
A shopping trolley for self-service shopping, includes a frame (1) supported by wheels (51, 52) The frame includes longitudinal beams (2) which at an upper end portion are coupled to each other by a handrail (3) that extends transverse thereto. A suspension assembly (4) extends operatively intermediate of the wheels and the frame. A scale (7) that includes an upward facing weighing surface is operatively supported by the frame. The shopping trolley includes a removable shopping bag (9) with a bottom (91). A pair of releasable grips (8) are operable to secure the shopping bag in a position with its bottom (91) on the weighing surface of the scale. An electronic terminal (6) is in operative connection with the scale.
TIP LIMITING MEMBER FOR WHEELED CART AND ASSEMBLIES THEREOF
A shopping cart is configured to roll along a supporting surface and includes a chassis, a basket, a rear leg, a rear wheel, and a rotational brake. The basket is supported above the chassis. The rear leg extends downwardly from the chassis. The rear wheel is rotatably coupled to the rear leg and is configured to rotate about a rotational axis. The rear wheel defines an outside perimeter configured to contact and roll along the supporting surface. A rotational brake is coupled to the rear leg and extending radially away from the rotational axis in a rearward and downward direction beyond an outside perimeter of the rear wheel. The rotational brake is configured to impede rotation of the chassis and the basket about the rotational axis.

Power generation systems and methods for wheeled objects
A power generation system for wheeled objects comprises a generator mechanically coupled to one or more of the object's wheels to convert wheel rotational energy into electrical energy. The power generation system may comprise an electrical storage device configured to store the electrical power produced by the generator. Power from the generator and/or the electrical storage device can be used to provide power to other electrical systems in or on the object. In certain embodiments, the electrical storage device comprises a bank of high-capacity capacitors connected in series. Some embodiments use a control circuit, for example, to regulate the charging and discharging of the capacitor bank and to provide suitable voltages for other systems. The power generation system may be disposed within an object's wheel, such as a wheel of a shopping cart.
SHOPPING CART FOOT WHEEL CAPABLE OF WARNING THE ABRASION STATUS OF THE BRAKING BLOCK
A shopping cart foot wheel capable of warning the abrasion status of the braking block comprising an escalator wheel assembly; the escalator wheel assembly comprises an escalator wheel core and escalator wheel discs; the escalator wheel discs are located on the two sides of the escalator wheel core, and are coaxially arranged with the escalator wheel core; the escalator wheel assembly further comprises an escalator wheel support, wherein the escalator wheel support is provided with an escalator wheel axle; locking nuts are simultaneously arranged at the two ends of the escalator wheel axle; the escalator wheel core is connected with the escalator wheel axle in a sleeved mode.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MONITORING SHOPPING CART WHEELS
Methods and systems are provided for evaluating shopping cart wheels using a sensor module or one or more microphones engaged with the shopping cart. The microphones can be used to detect sounds generated by the wheels of the shopping cart. A sound signature can be determined from the detected sound and compared to sound signatures in a database. If the detected sound indicates that a wheel of the shopping cart is failing, an alert can be generated using an associate alert system.
