Self-bagging carts

A mobile cart includes sets of arms from which bags may be suspended. The arms may be separated by a predetermined distance. Holes for suspending the bags from such arms may be laterally formed in such bags and separated by the predetermined distance. The arms may be extended when the mobile cart is being used to retrieve items from a materials handling facility, such as a warehouse or retail establishment, and retracted when the mobile cart is not in service. An open or expanded bag may be suspended near free ends of such arms, thereby enabling one or more workers to place items therein, while one or more closed or collapsed bags may be suspended at mounting ends of such arms and stored until one or more of such bags is desired. When the open bag is filled with desired items, the open bag may be removed from the arms.

Adjustable Dish Stacking Cart

A dish cart includes a top with a slot for receiving a lift arm that may be lifted up through the slot to raise or lower dishes. Lobe openings emanating from the slot receive lobes of a lift paddle secured to the lift arm. The cart may define a gap below the top for permitting insertion of the lift paddle and the lift arm. The cart may be adjusted to receive differently sized dishes by means of rails of different sizes or adjustable vanes. A dish drop station includes the lift arm and lift paddle and a lift mechanism for raising and lower the lift arm. The dish drop station may include a cart present sensor and include a lock for retaining the cart. The controller may be programmed to the lower the lift arm to an unlock position that disengages the cart lock.

Modular carts

A modular cart assembly includes a first cart and an identical second cart. Each cart has a latching assembly that vertically slides along the cart and a coupling arm spaced apart from the latching assembly. The first cart is coupled to the second cart by positioning the first cart next to the second cart, vertically sliding the latching assembly of the first cart along the first cart until the latching assembly of the first cart couples to the coupling arm of the second cart, and vertically sliding the latching assembly of the second cart along the second cart until the latching assembly of the second cart couples to the coupling arm of the first cart.

SHOPPING TROLLEY THAT CAN BE NESTED WITH IDENTICAL TROLLEYS
20200247448 · 2020-08-06 ·

The invention relates to a nestable shopping trolley comprising a foldable child-seat assembly having: a backrest movably mounted on the rear wall of the basket; and a cover arrangement which is pivotally provided on the rear wall, which rests on a seat arrangement and which, when pivoted upwards, closes leg-holes in the rear wall. When the child-seat assembly is not in use, the rear wall, the seat arrangement and the cover arrangement lie tightly against one another with the seat arrangement hanging downwards and the cover arrangement pointing upwards. The cover arrangement has two projecting parts pointing outwards in opposite directions and the backrest has a central section and two sliding sections laterally bordering the central section, the projecting parts sliding along the sliding sections of the backrest and said sliding sections forming respective spaces that are occupied by the projecting parts when the child-seat assembly is not in use.

TROLLEY ARRANGEMENT

A trolley arrangement is provided comprising a chassis from which a plurality of upwardly extending, rear support posts extend. An upper support frame is fitted to, and extends away from, the rear support posts, the upper support frame being fitted along the length of the support posts so that upper portions of the support posts extend upwardly, so as to protrude, from the upper support frame, the upper support frame comprising a peripheral bar component. A basket can be secured to the upper portions of the support posts, the basket being supported on top of the upper support frame once assembled. The basket comprises a corresponding plurality of elongate corner side wails that are arranged to be adjacent the upwardly extending support posts so that each post is arranged to abut against one of the upwardly extending corner side walls in use.
