Powered Wheelbarrow Assembly
A powered wheelbarrow assembly includes a wheelbarrow that includes a frame and a bucket that is hingedly coupled to the frame. A pair of front wheels is each rotatably coupled to the frame to roll on a support surface. A pair of rear wheels is each pivotally coupled to the frame to roll on the support surface. Each of the rear wheels is rotatable about a vertical axis for steering the wheelbarrow. A motor is coupled to the frame and a drive unit is movably coupled to the frame. The drive unit is in mechanical communication between the motor and the front wheels such that the motor rotates the front wheels when the motor is engaged. In this way the motor reduces the effort required to transport a load in the wheelbarrow. A clutch is movably coupled to the frame for engaging and disengaging the drive unit.
Powered sled
A pallet sled includes a base and a pair of tines extending from the base. A load wheel supports outer ends of each of the tines. A wheel supports the base. At least one motor is configured to drive the base wheel or at least one of the load wheels for driving the pallet sled. The motor may be a hub motor inside the base wheel or the load wheel.
ELECTRICAL POWER ASSIST FOR WHEELED CHILD CARRIER
Embodiments of an electric power-assisted wheeled child carrier are provided herein. The electric power-assisted wheeled child carrier, such as a stroller for example, includes an electric drive mechanism for electrically powering rotation of at least one wheel of the child carrier. The electric power mechanism includes a motor, an output shaft coupled to the motor that is configured to rotate the output shaft, a wheel shaft coupled to the wheel being powered; and a clutch positioned between the output shaft and the wheel shaft. The clutch is configured to move axially between an engaged state and a disengaged state. In the engaged state, the output shaft powered by the motor drives rotation of the wheel, and in the disengaged state, the wheel is configured to rotate without power from the motor.
DRIVE WHEEL AND CART
A drive wheel in which the rotational axial center of a wheel along the vertical direction intersecting the axial center of the axle is arranged shifted in the horizontal direction orthogonal to the axial center of the axle with respect to the axial center of the pivot shaft. When a radius R1 of the wheel, center distance R2 between the rotational axial center and the axial center of the pivot shaft, rotational frequency n1 of the wheel, rotational frequency n2 of the pivot shaft, rotational speed V1 of the wheel, and steering rotational speed V2 of the wheel rolling on a floor surface while turning the pivot shaft satisfy V1=V2, relations of V1=2R1n1, V2=2R2n2, and n1=n2 (R2/R1) are satisfied.
HANDCART
A handcart may include a frame; a drive wheel rotatably supported by the frame about a rotation axis extending in a right-left direction; a prime mover configured to rotate the drive wheel; a bracket pivotably supported by the frame about a pivot axis extending in an up-down direction; and a non-drive wheel supported by the bracket about a rotation axis extending in a direction perpendicular to the up-down direction. The non-drive wheel may include a first non-drive wheel and a second non-drive wheel, and the first non-drive wheel and the second non-drive wheel may be configured to be rotatable independent of each other.
HANDCART
A handcart may include a chassis unit and a container unit configured to be detachably attached to the chassis unit. The chassis unit may include a front wheel unit rotatably supporting a front wheel; a rear wheel unit rotatably supporting a rear wheel; a chassis frame extending in a front-rear direction and supporting the front and rear wheel units; and a prime mover configured to rotate at least one of the front wheel and the rear Wheel as a drive wheel. The container unit may be selected from a group including at least a first container unit and a second container unit. The first container unit may include a first container and a first container frame extending in the front-rear direction and supporting the first container, The second container unit may include a second container and a second container frame extending in the front-rear direction and supporting the second container.
WHEELBARROW WITH MULTIPLE WHEELS ON A FRONT AXLE
A wheelbarrow with multiple wheels on a front axle is provided. The wheelbarrow includes a cargo carrying portion, two load carrying members supporting the cargo carrying portion, and a motor providing an output torque. The wheelbarrow further includes the front axle attached to the two load carrying members, a middle wheel attached to the axle and receiving the output torque from the motor, and two side wheels attached to the axle, one on either side of the middle wheel wherein the two side wheels each have a smaller diameter than the middle wheel.
VEHICLE MOVING DEVICES AND METHODS FOR MOVING A VEHICLE
A vehicle moving device for moving a vehicle from a first location to a second location includes a frame having a first end and a second end. A driving wheel is coupled to the first end of the frame and configured to contact a vehicle wheel at a first wheel location. A holding arm is coupled to the second end of the frame opposite the driving wheel and configured to contact the vehicle wheel at a second wheel location. The holding arm holds the vehicle wheel in contact with the driving wheel as the driving wheel rotates the vehicle wheel.
Powered wheelbarrow
The wheelbarrow of the present embodiments provides a frame and a tub wherein the tub has a recess for receiving at least a portion of a wheel. Additionally, at least a portion of the frame and a portion of the tub may extend forward of the wheel. Further, a distance between a center of gravity of the tub and a vertical line or plane bisecting a rotational axis of the wheel when the wheelbarrow is in a resting position may be approximately equal to or less than a radius of the wheel. Also, the wheelbarrow may be powered by an engine or motor. The wheelbarrow may also include a transmission capable of rotating the wheel in a forward or reverse direction. Moreover, the wheelbarrow may contain control levers located adjacent handle grips for controlling the motor or engine, or the transmission.
