Adjustable displaced differential drive system
12559151 · 2026-02-24 ·

An adjustable displaced differential (ADD) drive unit is disclosed. The ADD drive unit includes a first drive wheel connected to a first pivot and having a vertical axis that is offset laterally from the first wheel traction point. The ADD drive unit includes a second drive wheel connected to a second pivot having a vertical axis that is offset laterally from the second wheel traction point. The ADD drive unit includes differential steering, where if the speed of rotation of the first drive wheel is different to the speed of rotation of the second drive wheel, steering results. The ADD drive unit includes an adjustable steering assembly that can adjust the orientation of the first drive wheel as compared to the second drive wheel to provide additional driving modalities including Ackermann steering, steerable lateral travel and steerable rotation about a chosen vertical axis, such as the center of the machine.

A motorized cart for transporting game animals includes a cart body. The cart body has a support assembly generally horizontal to support a game animal and a handle assembly extending upwardly at an angle from the support assembly. The motorized cart includes a restraining system to securely hold the game animal to the support assembly. The motorized cart further includes wheels disposed on the cart body and supporting the cart body above the ground, a motor connected to at least one of the wheels, and a battery connected to the motor to supply electrical energy to the motor. The motorized cart further includes a control switch attached to the handle assembly and electrically connected to the battery and the motor to control the flow of electrical energy from the battery to the motor.

Stair navigator with hydraulic brake

An improved hand truck having a stair navigator and brake system. The system includes a stair track, or stair navigator, having improved features allowing for the hand truck to navigate stairs more easily. The stair track is in connection with a brake, particularly a hydraulic brake system, allowing the user to stop movement of the belt of the stair climber while in use. The hand truck is an improved hand truck having an improved stair track, a brake system and a mechanism allowing for deployment and latching.

CARRIAGE WITH GUIDED AUTONOMOUS LOCOMOTION

Aspects relate to systems and methods for guided autonomous locomotion of a carriage, including a compartment configured to ensconce a child, a frame configured to support the compartment, a drive motor, a drivetrain operatively coupled to the drive motor; a drive wheel rotatably affixed to the frame, configured to contact a support surface and operatively coupled to the drivetrain, wherein operating the at least a drive motor causes the at least a drive wheel to rotate, an environmental sensor configured to sense an environmental characteristic related to an environment substantially surrounding the carriage; a battery configured to power the at drive motor and a controller configured to control the drive motor in response to the environmental characteristic.

Cart

A cart includes: a body; wheels; a drive unit, driving each of the wheels; a handle, receiving a user's operation; an input detection sensor, detecting a load and/or moment applied to the handle; a rotation number sensor, detecting number of rotations of each of the wheels; and a control device, setting a target propulsive force to be output as a propulsive force from each of the wheels based on the load and/or moment, and controlling the drive unit to output the target propulsive force as the propulsive force. If the number of rotations of the wheel located on a side close to a turning center exceeds a predetermined threshold during turning, the control device sets the target propulsive force of the wheel located on a side away from the turning center to be less than the target propulsive force set based on the load and/or moment.
