Wheel structure and pushcart having the same

A wheel structure that makes braking easy and prevents sudden stops, and a pushcart having the wheel structure are provided. The wheel structure includes a rotor that is rotatable about an axle and is stopped from rotating by a brake member, a wheel that is coaxial with the rotor and is rotatable about the rotor, and a relative-rotation resisting member that is disposed between the rotor and wheel and produces resistance force resisting the relative rotation of the rotor and wheel.

Rotating handle dynamic brake

A child transport carrier includes a handle bar and a rotatable brake actuator disposed around the handle bar. The rotatable brake actuator includes a first portion having a first radius of curvature and a second portion having a second radius of curvature. The first radius of curvature is less than the second radius of curvature. Rotating the rotatable brake actuator around the handle bar activates a first wheel brake.

Motorized Weight-Bearing Device

A weight-bearing device includes a single wheel, a frame attached to the wheel, and an electric motor attached to the frame. The electric motor is configured to rotate a first gear, connected to a second gear with a chain. The second gear is connected to the wheel. The second gear and the first gear may have a gear ratio of greater than 8:1.

Removal/installation apparatus for boat capture system

An apparatus for removing and/or installing a side guide of a trailer-mounted boat capture system for guiding a boat onto the trailer, the apparatus comprising: an outboard post pivotally attached to an upper support rail of the side guide; two inboard posts, each pivotally attached to the side guide proximal to where the side guide is attached to the trailer via first pins, wherein each inboard post includes a manual leveling jack; an attachment point on the side guide suitable for attaching a winch cable from a boat held in the boat capture system; and second pins attaching the side guide to the trailer such that when the first pins are removed the side guide is free to pivot around the second pins from an upright position towards a support surface.

SHOPPING CART KICKSTAND BRAKE

The shopping cart kickstand brake includes a brake unit and a control unit. The shopping cart kickstand brake may be a braking device that may prevent a shopping cart from rolling over a surface by deploying a kickstand. As non-limiting examples, the surface may comprise a parking lot, a sidewalk, or a floor. The brake unit may be coupled to the bottom of the shopping cart. The brake unit may deploy and retract the kickstand. The control unit may be coupled to a handle of the shopping cart. The control unit may be adapted for a user to control extension and retraction of the kickstand.

Brake device for caster
11904634 · 2024-02-20 · ·

An object to provide a brake device for a caster that has a simple structure, provides reliable braking, has no risk of damaging the circumferential surface of a roller, and has high durability. The brake device for a caster includes: a plurality of projecting parts formed concentrically at regular intervals on opposite side-surfaces of a roller in a direction in parallel with the axis, and levers set across the roller at both side-panels of a fork so as to be opposed to the projecting parts, and a claw formed at a tip of each of the levers so as to be opposed to the projecting parts, wherein the levers are operated so that the claw is engaged with a concave part formed between the projecting parts, thereby locking rotation of the roller.

RETRACTABLE FOLDING TROLLEY
20240051589 · 2024-02-15 · ·

The present disclosure provides a retractable folding trolley, including a frame and a storage bag detachably mounted on the frame. The frame includes a support rod, a first retractable rod crosswise arranged around the frame, and a second retractable rod crosswise arranged at the bottom of the frame. A first connecting seat is mounted at the bottom of the support rod, a second connecting seat is slidably mounted on the support rod, a third connecting seat and a locking seat are arranged at the bottom of the frame, and one end of the second retractable rod is hinged to the locking seat. The overall size and height of the folding trolley of the present disclosure after retraction are smaller than those of a conventional folding trolley, which is convenient for storage and carrying.

Collapsible dolly assembly
10486728 · 2019-11-26 ·

A collapsible dolly assembly includes a pair of frames that are each selectively urged between a deployed position and a collapsed position. A pair of rear wheels is rotatably coupled to the frame to roll along a support surface. A pair of front wheels is rotatably coupled to the frame to roll along the support surface. A dolly is hingedly coupled to the frame to support an object thereby facilitating the object to be transported along the support surface. A pair of skid units is movably coupled to an associated one of the frames. Each of the skid units is selectively positioned in a deployed position. In this way each of the skid units frictionally engages a staircase thereby facilitating the object to be urged upwardly and downwardly along the staircase. A braking unit is movably coupled to the frame to selectively engage the staircase when the skid unit is positioned in the deployed position. Thus, the braking unit retains the object at a selected point along the staircase.
