A cable member is located within the elongated tubular stem portion and communicates the pin and trigger members, allowing the normally open jaw members to be brought together to hold a golf ball and tee upon activation of the trigger member. A stand member is attached to the elongated tubular stem portion adjacent its lower end, and includes a spike member extending downwardly therefrom. A golf ball stop member configured to prevent contact between a golf ball and the upper portions of the jaw members extends between the jaw members.

A first strap arm portion may extend from the body portion and may have a first channel extending through the body portion and configured to receive a first strap. A second strap arm portion may extend from the body portion and may have a second channel extending through the body portion and configured to receive a second strap. The first and second channels may be at least partially separate from each other. The first and second straps may freely move relative to each other without contacting each other inside the strap connector. Other examples may be described and claimed.

In the two strap system, Strap A is fitted over one shoulder and Strap B is fitted over the other shoulder. To convert from a double strap configuration to a single strap configuration, Strap A is detached and slipped over the head area and coupled to Strap B. This results in a single strap comprising both Straps A and B. The combined Straps A and B are joined together by a suitable fastening means. For example, complementary male and female members that interlock with each other on the straps can be used. The shoulder strap assembly is durable, lightweight, easy to use, and comfortable.
