Rotating handle dynamic brake
A child transport carrier includes a handle bar and a rotatable brake actuator disposed along a lengthwise axis of the handle bar. A first cable having a first end and a second end is coupled to the rotatable brake actuator. A first wheel brake of a first wheel is coupled to the first end of the first cable. Rotating the rotatable brake actuator around the lengthwise axis of the handle bar activates the first wheel brake.
Braking device for vehicles such as, for example, walking frames, strollers or disabled wheelchairs
A braking device for a vehicle such as, for example, a walking frame, a stroller or a disabled wheelchair, includes: a hand grip extending along an extension axis X-X adapted to be rotatably mounted on a handlebar of a vehicle; a slide operatively connected to the cable of a vehicle brake; the slide being translatable between a locked position tensioning the cable of a brake and an unlocked position leaving loose the cable of a brake, and vice versa; and at least one pin element integral with the hand grip and engaged with a profile of the slide; the pin element sliding with respect to the profile between a first position, in which the slide is in the unlocked position, and a second position, in which the slide is in the locked position, and vice versa.
Brake system
A brake system for use with a wheeled device, such as a wheeled person transportation device, such as a wheelchair. The brake system comprises a handle comprising a first portion and a second portion, wherein the first portion is moveably coupled to the second portion; a carrier comprising an internal cavity; a brake actuator for actuating a brake, the brake actuator being arranged within the internal cavity; brake actuator biasing means for applying a biasing force to the brake actuator for biasing the brake actuator to a brake-engaged position; and force-transfer means coupled to the first portion and to the brake actuator such that movement of the first portion towards the second portion causes the brake actuator to move along the internal cavity of the carrier against the biasing force to a brake-disengaged position.
STROLLER
A stroller capable of making braking easy and maintaining itself in a brake release state with a simple structure is provided. The stroller includes a body frame, wheels, a brake member located at a lower end of a leg section, and displaced between a braking position and a brake release position, an operating mechanism attached to the push rod, operatively associated with the brake member through a coupling member coupling the operating mechanism and the brake member, and being capable of being displaced between a first position corresponding to the braking position of the brake member and a second position corresponding to the brake release position of the brake member, a bias member biasing the brake member to move the brake member to the braking position, and a maintaining mechanism maintaining the operating mechanism in the second position corresponding to the brake release position.
WHEEL STRUCTURE AND PUSHCART HAVING THE SAME
A wheel structure that makes braking easy and prevents sudden stops, and a pushcart having the wheel structure are provided. The wheel structure includes a rotor that is rotatable about an axle and is stopped from rotating by a brake member, a wheel that is coaxial with the rotor and is rotatable about the rotor, and a relative-rotation resisting member that is disposed between the rotor and wheel and produces resistance force resisting the relative rotation of the rotor and wheel.
Frame folding mechanism, frame locking mechanism, backrest unlocking mechanism and stroller
The invention provides a frame folding mechanism, a frame locking mechanism, a backrest unlocking mechanism and a stroller. A handle, a front foot, a seat portion and a linking member of the frame folding mechanism form a planar linkage mechanism. The handle and the front foot can be driven to rotate and fold toward a rear foot, so as to drive the seat portion to rotate and fold. The frame locking mechanism can drive a sliding member and a frame expansion locking member to slide by an unlock driving mechanism, such that the frame expansion locking member disengages from a handle locking hole and a front foot locking hole to unlock a frame. The backrest unlocking mechanism has a backrest locking member. The unlock driving mechanism can drive the backrest locking member to slide, such that the backrest locking member disengages from a backrest portion to unlock the backrest portion.
CHILD MEDICAL TRANSPORT APPARATUS, ASSEMBLY AND METHOD THEREOF
An assembly of a first and second child transport apparatus is disclosed. Each apparatus may include: a frame having a frame base, at least one wheel, and a handle; at least one brake and a brake rod, wherein the brake rod is attached to the frame, and wherein the at least one brake actionable upon the wheel when the brake rod is actuated; a carriage pivotably attached to the frame; and a foldable backrest pivotably attached to a base of the carriage, wherein, in a nested position, the foldable backrest of the first apparatus is folded down and the carriage of the second apparatus is positioned partially within the carriage of the first apparatus such that the carriage of the second apparatus is disposed partially over the foldable backrest of the first apparatus; and the brake rod of the first apparatus is released by the handle of the second apparatus.
CONVERTIBLE STROLLER
An adjustable stroller having a main carriage and a handle bar assembly, wherein the handle bar assembly is configured to convert between push and pull configurations to enable a user to either push or pull the stroller. More specifically, the adjustable stroller includes the main carriage, pulling rails comprised of handle bar tubes and telescoping rail tubes, two rear wheels attached to the main carriage and the proximal ends of the pulling rails via wheel hubs, a cross bar and center handle configured to host conversion and brake mechanism controls, and a third, front wheel to offer stability and balance. The handle bar assembly in dudes the pulling rails and the cross bar and center handle. In the pull configuration, the distal ends of the pulling rails can attach to an adjustable running belt that a user can wear around the user's waist.
