20240198927 · 2024-06-20 ·

An implement mounting device for use in attaching an implement to a golf cart includes a bracket, which is mountable to a frame of a golf cart proximate to a front end of the frame. The bracket also is selectively attachable to an implement, such as a snowplow, so that the implement is removably mounted to the golf cart. The bracket thus fixes an implement to a golf cart, thereby enabling a user to perform a task, such as moving snow, with the implement.

GOLF CART SYSTEM CAPABLE OF AUTONOMOUS DRIVING BASED ON ACCURATE LOCATION INFORMATION AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING GOLF CART USING THE SYSTEM
20190155274 · 2019-05-23 ·

Disclosed herein is a golf cart system enabling a golf cart to autonomously operate and a method of controlling a golf cart using the system. More specifically, when a terminal 400 deviated from its original location where transmission and reception to and from a golf cart are performed or the terminal 400 deviates from a driving restricted area or driving area within a driving area set in the golf cart, the golf cart is automatically stopped. When the terminal 400 enters the driving area again, an accurate location of the terminal 400 is confirmed using a distance value having a minimized error range using a trilateration algorithm, and the golf cart can move rapidly.

20190151725 · 2019-05-23 ·

The present invention relates to an apparatus for and a method of controlling the travel and positioning of a golf bag carrier and assisting the golfer during his or her round of golf. The carrier could be a golf bag carrier of the kind typically driven by a golfer, a separate golf bag cart or a combination of both carriers. The inventive apparatus and method described herein controls the movement of the golf bag carrier without the need for the golfer to control all of the movement of the carrier and/or to walk with a corresponding device. Further, carriers that include the physical elements of the present invention have access to various details about the golf course, its surroundings and the golfer and can use information provided from such physical elements to navigate the golf course and provide the golfer with useful information that assist in the golfer's play.

A golf car accessory includes a mounting assembly for attaching a ball washer or other accessory to a golf car. The assembly includes a pair of parallel opposing L-shaped brackets, each bracket having a first member that extends substantially perpendicularly outward from a vertical member. The vertical member of each bracket is mounted to the golf car through one or more mounting holes disposed in the first member of each bracket for attaching each first member to the golf car in a spaced apart configuration. A mounting arm has an upper and lower end. The upper end terminates in a first horizontal member extending outwardly from the mounting arm and beyond the pair of opposing L-shaped brackets and the lower end terminates in a second horizontal member extending inwardly from the mounting arm and forwardly along the pair of opposing L-shaped brackets in a direction opposite the first horizontal member.
