Manually operable carriage and working attachments that may be employed with the carriage
The present invention relates to a manually operable carriage and working attachments that may be employed with the carriage. The attachments may include a plow, a logging clamp, or other implements.
Transportation carts for gas bottles
A cart is disclosed for carrying a gas bottle. The cart includes a wheeled frame and a bottle support platform. The support platform is configured to pivot between a loading position in which a gas bottle may be loaded and/or unloaded from the bottle support platform and a cradle position in which the gas bottle and the bottle support platform are elevated. A bottle rest may support the bottle when the bottle support platform is in the cradle position. A bottle support spine may also, or alternatively, support the bottle during transportation and act as a lever for pivoting the bottle support platform between the loading position and the cradle position.
Oxygen Transport and Flotation Device
This is a flotation transport device for portable oxygen tanks, created to allow anyone dependent upon supplemental oxygen to do two things: transport the device and tank with ease to the edge of the pool using wheels and a handle that extends; and secondly to provide a floating case to be used in the pool or shallow water for recreation, exercise or therapy. This device provides an accommodation for people who are dependent upon oxygen to use the pool like everyone else. The device consists of three connected pieces: the plastic carrying case; the foam board; and the expandable transport mechanism.
PORTABLE WELDING CARRIAGE WITH FIRE EXTINGUISHER RETAINING MEANS
A portable welding carriage with a retaining compartment for receiving a fire extinguisher, the fire extinguisher positioned forwardly of acetylene and oxygen cylinders to protect the same and provide accessibility in exigent circumstances.
MOBILE SUPPORT ASSEMBLY FOR HOLDING AND TRANSPORTING A CONTAINER
A mobile storage apparatus for containers is provided. The apparatus provides a unique support assembly for holding a container. The assembly includes a latch mechanism that allows a clamp of cylinder to be moved from a closed position to an open position which creates clearance around a neck of cylinder to allow it to rotate without falling out of clamp. The other end of apparatus is structurally configured with a release plunger that can be retracted to allow rotation of cylinder along said other end. Rotatable wheels on a user side with a braking mechanism along a handle and a foot ledge allow improved maneuverability and stability.
Hospital cart for transporting a cylinder of gas, in particular of medical NO
Disclosed is a mobile cart including a base for accommodating one or more gas cylinders, castors, a main column extending upwards from the base, a stowage cabinet arranged along the main column, an anchoring structure arranged at an upper end of the main column, a support post carried by the anchoring structure and equipped with fixing unit for a gas delivery apparatus, and a manual gripping handle allowing a user to manipulate the cart. Use of such a mobile cart to transport one or more cylinders of gas, in particular a NO/N2 mixture and/or oxygen, and a gas delivery apparatus.
HAND CARTS TRANSPORTING GAS CYLINDERS
The present invention involves a device for holding and transporting a gas cylinder. The device, a hand truck, has an arm portion having a lip portion mounted thereon. The device also has at least one stabilizing peg mounted to the lip portion with two wheels mounted to the lip portion. The at least one stabilizing peg is sized and configured to engage the stabilizing ring of the gas cylinder placed on the lip portion. Optionally, a hook may be attached to the arm portion such that the hook may engage the gas cylinder. The arm portion may further comprise a handle portion pivotable between a raised position and a collapsed position. The handle portion is lockable in the raised position and the lowered position. The arm portion further comprises a cradle portion sized and configured to engage and stabilize the gas cylinder. The gas cylinder, having a stabilizing ring, may be tilted forward, and the hand truck may then be positioned to engage the cylinder. The gas cylinder may then be tilted back so that the stabilizing ring rests on the lip portion of the hand truck and is engaged by the at least one stabilizing peg. This allows for the tilting of the hand truck and cylinder backward so that the hand truck and cylinder may be wheeled freely.
Transport means
A transport means (N) includes at least one lower support (1) on which at least two cylinders, in which a material which can be a compressed gas is stored, are placed by being stacked on the top of one another; at least one body (3) having one end connected to said lower support (1); at least one first steering element (2a) disposed on the body (3) for steering the cylinders during transport, at least two motion elements (4) connected to said body (3) for providing the movement of the transport means (N), the transport means (N) including at least one thrust mechanism which allows the topmost cylinder to move closer toward the lower support (1) such that the cylinders stacked on the top of one another do not come apart during transport.
