Storage assembly and child carrier therewith

A storage assembly is installed on a frame of a child carrier. The storage assembly includes a storage component, a fixing base and a connecting component rotatably connected to the fixing base. One of the fixing base and the connecting component is fixedly connected to a handle of the frame, and the other of the fixing base and the connecting component is fixedly to the storage component. The storage component can be assembled on or disassembled from the handle through the fixing base and the connecting component. The storage component can rotate relative to the frame by relative rotation between the connecting component and the fixing base, so as to avoid interference with folding operation of the frame due to the storage component when folding the frame, and further facilitate folding operation of the child carrier, so that the child carrier can be folded to ideal volume for easy carrying.

The connecting member is coupled between the mounting member and the horizontal member such that an interior angle between the horizontal member and the mounting member is an acute angle. The vertical member is coupled to the horizontal member and is substantially perpendicular to the horizontal member. The cup holder also includes a cup retaining member coupled to an end of the vertical member, wherein the cup retaining member is perpendicular to the vertical member and substantially parallel with the horizontal member. The cup retaining member has an aperture for receiving a cup there through, wherein the cup is supported by the horizontal member when received through the cup retaining member.

A pair of connection arms extends from the front guard member. The folding mechanism includes a rotatable member pivoted to the cover and detachably connected to the connection arm. An abutting portion protrudes from the rotatable member. When the rear leg connector is unfolding, the rear leg connector abuts against the abutting portion and drives the front guard member rotating relative to the cover to an unfolded position. When the rear leg connector is folding, the rear leg connector is detached from the abutting portion to release the front guard member to a folded position.

In some embodiments, the chassis defines on each lateral side of the cart a pair of vertically spaced handles, each handle surrounding and defining an opening. The handles preferably include handle bars shaped in an oval. On each cart side a curved elongate member extends between and connects the handles, and the curved elongate members represent the rearmost part of the cart. The rear area of the upper basket defines a seat for an infant, and a rear ledge of the lower basket defines a seat for a toddler.
