The golf ball assembly includes a golf ball having a core, intermediate layers, and an outer cover layer. The outer cover layer envelops the outer portion of the golf ball. This outer cover layer is embedded with an insect repellent to prevent insects from coining into contact with the golf ball. The golf ball additionally includes a paint layer that may further be imbedded with the insect repellent. The outer cover layer and the paint layer may also be embedded with a scented material to provide a user with pleasantly smelling golf balls. The golf tee assembly includes a golf tee having a tee outer cover layer and a tee paint layer that may also be embedded with an insect repellent or scented material.

An insect repelling and scented golf ball including a golf ball assembly, and a golf tee assembly is disclosed herein. The golf ball assembly includes a golf ball having a core, intermediate layers, and an outer cover layer. The outer cover layer envelops the outer portion of the golf ball. This outer cover layer is embedded with an insect repellent to prevent insects from coining into contact with the golf ball. The golf ball additionally includes a paint layer that may further be imbedded with the insect repellent. The present disclosure relates to a golf tee, and more particularly, to a golf tee in which a portion on which a ball is placed is formed of a flexible material so as to prevent the tee from being lost or damaged by being broken or displaced due to an impact applied thereto by a golf club head when making a tee shot, and which is configured to be stably fixed and to be easily stuck into/pulled out from the ground and to maintain the initial height of the ball constant so as to reduce the inconvenience of adjusting the height of the ball whenever the tee is inserted into the ground.

The present disclosure provides sports training devices for improving a user's technique. In some embodiments, the sports training device comprises a golf putting apparatus including a mat comprising a proximal end, a distal end, a top side and a bottom side; a plurality of distinct resting areas on the top side and near the distal end; a raised ridge on the top side between each of the distinct resting areas; and at least one origin spot on the top side and near the proximal end for placing a ball, such as a golf ball. In one embodiment, a method of improving a user's technique comprises striking a ball from one of the at least one origin spots towards a distinct resting area, such as a preselected resting area.

A golf tee includes a stem positionable in or on the ground; and a head connected to the stem for supporting a golf ball. The head is configured to surround and support a portion of the golf ball, including the portion of the ball facing a golf player when positioned to hit the golf ball. The head includes a back portion configured to be impacted by a golf club of the golf player and two side portions extending from the back portion and wrapping around opposite sides of the golf ball to surround up to 180 of the circumference of the golf ball to inhibit side spin of the golf ball upon impact by the golf club. The back portion of the head of the golf tee includes a flat planar element extending substantially across the back portion and configured to provide a visual cue to guide the golf player to square the face of the golf club at impact when striking the golf ball.
