STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY
A steering wheel assembly includes a steer-by-wire steering wheel and a central axis about which the steering wheel rotates to control the direction of travel of a motor vehicle. The steering wheel assembly also includes (a) a support arm, the steering wheel being coupled to a first end of the support arm so as to permit rotation of the steering wheel about the central axis of the steering wheel and (b) an interior trim portion, wherein the second end of the support arm is slidably coupled to a track of the interior trim portion. The track is configured such that the steering wheel is movable relative to the interior trim portion from a first deployed position in which a first occupant of the vehicle steers the steering wheel to a position away from the first deployed position.

Removable manual controls for an autonomous vehicle
Aspects of the present disclosure relate to a vehicle for maneuvering a passenger to a destination autonomously. The vehicle includes a computing system and a set of user input buttons for communicating requests to stop the vehicle and to initiate a trip to the destination with the computing system The vehicle has no steering wheel and no user inputs for the steering, acceleration, and deceleration of the vehicle other than the set of user input buttons. In order to safely test the vehicle, a removable manual control system may be used. The system may include a housing having an electronic connection to a computing system of the vehicle. The housing includes a steering input configured to allow a passenger to control the direction of the vehicle. The system also includes one or more computing devices configured to receive input from the steering input and send instructions the computing system.

Speed and steering control of a hydraulically driven tractor
A tractor has hydraulically driven wheels at a cab end and castor wheels at an engine end. Each driven wheels is driven by a hydraulic motor with a continuous adjustment of the motor displacement, with the motor being driven by a pump also having continuous displacement. The motor displacement is controlled by an electronic controller in response to stroking of the speed control lever to manage the displacement to provide required drive torques at different points in the stroke. There is provided an automatic steering system having a guidance controller arranged to receive GPS position information which controls the steering by differentially adjusting the displacement of the motors so that the automatic steering is independent of the manual steering which controls the pumps.

HYDRAULIC STEERING
Hydraulic steering (1) is disclosed comprising a high pressure port (P), a low pressure port (T), two working ports (CL, CR), a manual steering section (3), and a steering valve section having a steering valve 5 and a hydraulic driving arrangement (6) adjusting hydraulically a position of said steering valve. A change from automatic steering to manual steering should be reliably ensured when the manual steering section is directly influenced by a driver. To this end, a switching valve (11) is provided, which is actuatable between a first position in which said driving arrangement (6) is supplied with hydraulic fluid under pressure, and a second position in which a supply of hydraulic fluid to said driving arrangement (6) is interrupted, wherein said switching valve (11) is hydraulically actuated into said second position by a pressure generated upon actuating of said manual steering section (3).
WORK VEHICLE
A controller disables the motion of a steering cylinder brought about by a steering lever when an enabled state is selected via a lever switch and an instruction to start an engine is issued via a main switch.

Steering system for an agricultural vehicle
A steering system for an agricultural vehicle has at least one steering cylinder for changing a steering angle of the agricultural vehicle, a hydraulic main steering valve for pressurizing the at least one steering cylinder, a steering transducer for actuating the main steering valve, a steering boost for controlling an adjustment characteristic between the steering transducer and the at least one steering cylinder and a sensor system for detecting an external signal of the agricultural vehicle. The steering boost controls the adjustment characteristic on the basis of the detected external signal.
