A system is for determining a position on a golf course. The system has a master unit and at least one slave unit. The master unit and the at least one slave unit are adapted to communicate through a telecommunications network. The master unit comprises a receiver for a satellite navigation system, the receiver being operable at a fixed position on the golf course. The master unit is configured to: obtain a position determined by the receiver; process the displacement between the obtained position and the fixed position; and make the processed displacement available to the at least one slave unit through the telecommunications network. A slave unit then makes use of the processed displacement to improve positions determined by itself.

A portable golf ball marker and alignment tool is provided comprising a disc-shaped body having a top side opposite a bottom side, a peripheral wall disposed circumferentially and defining a boundary between the top and bottom sides. The body further includes an aperture in the shape of a bottle opener cutout having a fulcrum edge and a lifting edge configured to engage in a close-fitting manner with an edge of a conventional bottle cap. A plurality of alignment indicia disposed on the top side of the body, wherein the alignment indicia comprises of a first line centrally disposed along a longitudinal axis and a second line and a third line spaced equidistant from and extend in parallel relation to the centrally disposed first line. The portable golf ball marker and alignment tool further comprises a tapered can opener extending outwardly from a lower portion of the peripheral wall, wherein the tapered can opener is further adapted to engage in a close-fitting manner underneath a pull tab of a conventional beverage can.

A holder for securing golf accessories therein and attaching to a belt, golf bag, waist band, piece of clothing or other article that is carried while golfing. The holder includes a housing having a base and a sidewall extending from the base toward an open face defining a compartment that can receive a ball divot repair tool. The sidewall forms a perimeter of the housing, wherein the open face extends the perimeter to allow the ball divot repair tool to be quickly and conveniently removed and inserted therefrom. A divot repair tool fastener is disposed on a surface of the housing to secure the ball divot repair tool thereto. In some embodiments, the divot repair tool is included and comprises a ball marker that is interchangeable with other ball markers in order to allow for a variety of colors or embodiments to be displayed on the divot repair tool.

A combination flagstick and ball retrieval device include an elongated flagstick having a top end and a bottom end. A ferrule is positioned along the bottom end of the flagstick, and a ball retrieval device is secured along the flagstick at a location adjacent to the ferrule. Both the ferrule and the ball retrieval device include a shape and size that is suitable for engaging a golf course cup. The ball retrieval device includes a generally circular frame having a central aperture and a slotted channel for receiving a connector that is secured onto the flagstick. The connector including protrusions to engage the slotted channel. The ball retrieval device also includes a malleable and resilient upper member having an outside diameter that is greater than the outside diameter of the frame member.

A device for holding a golf ball position marker comprising a front face and an attachment portion disposed behind the front face. The front face comprises a permanent magnet that may removably retain a ferrous metal golf ball position marker to the front face. The front face comprises a circumferential lip about at least a portion of a circumference of the front face and may further comprise a recessed portion to aid with removability of the golf ball position marker from the front face. The attachment portion is configured to removably attach to a golf putter shaft.

A golf ball marker includes a base and an ornamental inlay. The base defines a closed recess, and has a flat marginal surface surrounding the recess. The ornamental inlay is carried by the base, and held flush within the recess such that an outside surface of the inlay and the flat marginal surface of the base reside in substantially the same plane and form a substantially continuous smooth top surface of the ball marker.
