FLOOR-BOUND VEHICLE
A floor-bound vehicle, in particular for a movable production plant with a processing unit for processing a workpiece, with at least two drive units, wherein the drive units each comprise at least one drive wheel, a travel drive for driving the at least one drive wheel, a wheel carrier on which the at least one drive wheel is arranged, and a steering drive for adjusting the wheel carrier with the drive wheel about a geometric steering axis and thus steering the drive wheel, wherein for steering, the respective wheel carrier can be adjusted relative to the respective travel drive by means of the respective steering drive is provided.
Electric power steering apparatus and vehicle mounted therewith
An electric power steering apparatus having independent turning mechanisms for respective four wheels of a vehicle, has a problem in that, when a turning motor fails, a turning mechanism for a corresponding wheel stops functioning, resulting in reduction in the maneuverability and the stability of the vehicle. Turning motors of turning mechanisms independently disposed for respective four wheels of a vehicle, each have a redundant configuration. Specifically, each turning motor is configured as three-phase duplexing motors having two three-phase windings and two inverters for separately driving the three-phase windings.
Control device, steering device, control method, and recording medium
A control device of a steering device, for a vehicle, which includes left and right steering mechanisms not mechanically coupled to each other, and which steers left and right steered wheels individually by driving force of steering actuators, includes: a steered angle determining unit that determines a target steered angle for each of the left and right steering mechanisms; and a steering command unit that generates drive signals corresponding to the target steered angles, and outputs the drive signals to each of the actuators. When an anomaly occurs in one of the left and right steering mechanisms, the steered angle determining unit sets the target steered angle for the steering mechanisms that is normal to be different from the target steered angle when both the left and right steering mechanisms are normal.
Steering device and vehicle wheel mounting module including the same
A steering device, including: a steering knuckle rotatably holding a wheel; an electric motor and a speed reducer configured to decelerate rotation of the electric motor, the electric motor and the speed reducer being fixed to a suspension arm; and a joint through which the steering knuckle is supported by the suspension arm in a state in which a kingpin axis is allowed to incline with respect to the suspension arm, the joint coupling the steering knuckle and an output shaft of the speed reducer such that the steering knuckle pivots about the kingpin axis by an operation of the electric motor.
Vehicle steering system
A steering system for a vehicle, including: a pair of wheel steering devices that respectively steer right and left wheels independently of each other; and a controller configured to control the pair of wheel steering devices, wherein the controller is configured to: determine a standard steering amount of each of the right and left wheels in accordance with a steering request; execute opposite-phase shift steering in which steering amounts of the respective right and left wheels are shifted in mutually opposite directions by respective shift amounts with respect to the standard steering amounts determined respectively for the right and left wheels; and estimate a friction coefficient of a road surface on which the vehicle is running based on steering forces respectively applied to the right and left wheels in the opposite-phase shift steering.
System for a Vehicle that Compensates for Vehicle Spin
A system of an electric vehicle configured to compensate for spin of the electric vehicle that results from slipping of one or more wheels. A controller detects when one or more wheels are slipping and/or a spin (e.g., rotation) of the electric vehicle that results from a torsion force as a result of the slipping. The controller instructs the steering system to orient one or more of the wheels that are not slipping in a direction opposite the direction of rotation to attempt to reduce or eliminate rotation of the electric vehicle and/or to maintain the present direction of travel.
Steering control device
A steering control device is configured to control a motor, the motor being a generation source of a driving force that is given to a steering mechanism of a vehicle. The steering control device includes a controller configured to compute a controlled variable depending on a steering state, the controlled variable being used in the control of the motor. The controller is configured to alter a control parameter for the controller, based on a command that is generated by a host control device depending on a purpose of an intervention in a steering control, the host control device being mounted on the vehicle.
Speed reducer and drive device
A speed reducer according to the present invention includes: at least one gear member for changing a speed of rotations input from a rotary device and outputting the rotations; a case housing the gear member; and a heating unit provided on the case and configured to heat the case or an inside of the case.
Control device and turning device
A control device includes a processor. The processor is configured to perform a route acquisition process for acquiring route information indicating a target route of a vehicle. The processor is configured to perform a behavior optimization process for correcting, based on at least one of a plurality of state quantities indicating a behavior of the vehicle during traveling, each of a left turning command value and a right turning command value such that the behavior of the vehicle becomes a target behavior. The processor is configured to perform a locus stabilization process for correcting, based on at least one of the state quantities indicating the behavior of the vehicle during traveling, a steering command value such that the vehicle travels on the target route.
DUAL-WHEELS CORNER SYSTEM WITH TRANSVERSE SUSPENSION
A vehicle corner system for a dual-axle wheels assembly may include: a sub-frame; a first wheel interface having a first spinning axis about which a first wheel spins when connected to the first wheel interface; a first suspension linkage connected to and being transverse to the first wheel interface and to the sub-frame; a second wheel interface having a second spinning axis about which a second wheel spins when connected to the second wheel interface; a second suspension linkage connected to and being transverse to the second wheel interface and to the sub-frame; and a motion restrainer comprising a spring interconnecting the first suspension linkage and the second suspension linkage.
