SUSPENSION JOINING STRUCTURE
A suspension joining structure includes: a lower arm having one end fastened to a vehicle body; an assist knuckle having a strut thereon; a fastening unit configured to connect one end of the lower arm and a lower end of the assist knuckle to each other; a suspension fastened to the assist knuckle and rotating independently of the assist knuckle for steering of a wheel; a steering input part connected to the assiste knuckle, and configured such that a steering force is applied to the suspension upon steering; and a rotation transfer unit arranged between the suspension and the steering input part.
A POWER ASSISTED STEERING SYSTEM ARRANGEMENT
The present invention relates to a power assisted steering system arrangement (100A) for a vehicle comprising a steering wheel (120A), a first, driver, link arrangement (10A) comprises a linkage between the steering wheel (120C) and the front wheels (127,127) comprising a steering column (121A), a Recirculating Ball Joint, RCB, (123A) arranged on a first side of the vehicle, a track rod arrangement for steering the front wheels (127,127), a first lever arm (124A) arranged to transfer a driver torque applied by via the steering wheel to the track rod arrangement providing a connection between the RCB (123A) and the track rod arrangement. The system further comprises a torsion bar (128A) with a torsion-bar torque sensor associated with the steering column (121A), an assistance actuator (30A), arranged on a second side of the vehicle, opposite to the side of the vehicle where the RCB is arranged, said assistance actuator (30A) comprising at least an electric motor (115A) and an Electronic Control Unit, ECU, (110A) controlling the electric motor depending on control signals received from the torsion-bar torque sensor, and an assistance actuator link arrangement (20A) connected to said track rod arrangement, so that a steering torque applied by the driver as well as an assistance actuator torque provided or applied by the assistance actuator (30A) is transferred to the track rod arrangement steering the front wheels of the vehicle.
INDEPENDENT DRIVE MODULE
An independent drive module includes: an in-wheel motor configured to provide driving force to a wheel of a vehicle; a support arm including a first end connected to a vehicle body and a second end connected to the in-wheel motor, to support the in-wheel motor; a shock absorber module including a first end connected to the in-wheel motor and a second end connected to the vehicle body, the shock absorber being configured to absorb shock between the in-wheel motor and the vehicle body and swivel the in-wheel motor during turning of the vehicle so as to perform both shock absorption and steering; and a steering motor connected to the second end of the shock absorber module to transmit rotational force for the steering to the shock absorber module.
STEERING AND SUSPENSION MECHANISM
A suspension and steering mechanism for a vehicle including at least one suspension arm, a steering arm, and a steering actuator. The suspension arm includes a wheel mounting end and a base end rotatably coupled with a reference frame via a base axis. The steering arm is coupled with the suspension arm at a rotation point of the steering arm. An actuated end of the steering arm extends toward a first direction from the rotation point. The steering actuator includes an actuating end and a fixed end, and is rotatably coupled at the fixed end with the suspension arm and rotatably coupled at the actuating end with the actuated end of the steering arm. A horizontal location of the fixed end is within at least one of a horizontal cross-section of the suspension arm and a triangle defined by the rotation point and the largest width of the base axis.
Device and method for double-arm suspension and in-wheel steering
A suspension system for a wheel of a vehicle including: a wheel interface having a wheel interface axis which is an axis about which a wheel rotates when connected to the wheel interface; a first arm connected to the wheel interface and rotatable with respect to the wheel interface about a first axis that is substantially parallel to the wheel interface axis; and a second arm connected to the wheel interface and rotatable with respect to the wheel interface about a second axis that is substantially parallel to the wheel interface axis; and a damping and springing means disposed within a gap formed between the first arm and the second arm, the damping and springing means are connected at one of its ends to at least one of the first arm, the second arm and the wheel interface; wherein at least a portion of the suspension system is to be disposed within a rim of a wheel.
Vehicle suspension device
A vehicle suspension device includes a wheel body on which a wheel and tire unit is mounted, a steering drive unit configured to transmit a driving force to rotate the wheel body in a lateral direction of a vehicle body, so that the wheel and tire unit rotates together with the wheel body, and a wheel moving unit disposed on the vehicle body to be movable in a front-back direction, configured such that a position thereof changes in a top-bottom direction, and connected to the wheel body to support the wheel body, so that a position of the wheel body is changed in response to the wheel moving unit moving in the front-back direction and changing the position in the top-bottom direction.
A DRIVE ARRANGEMENT FOR A VEHICLE
A drive arrangement for a vehicle, the drive arrangement comprising a rotatable interface arranged to be mounted to the vehicle, wherein the rotatable interface is rotatably coupled to a mounting arm to allow continuous rotation of the mounting arm in a clockwise and anti clockwise direction that is substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal and transverse axis of the vehicle; and a first electric motor having a stator and a rotor, wherein the stator is coupled to the mounting arm to allow the axis of the rotor to be substantially perpendicular to the rotational axis of the rotatable interface, wherein the rotor is arranged to be coupled to a wheel of the vehicle to allow the electric motor to provide drive torque to the wheel.
Device and a System for Controlling the Turning of an Object
A device and a system for controlling the turning of an object includes a shaft enclosing a first space, and a sleeve forming a second space between the shaft and the sleeve. Movement of the sleeve is transmitted to movement of the object. The device further comprises a housing comprising means for rotating the shaft and at least one inlet for a lubricant, and a lubricant collector. The shaft has a first through hole extending from the first space to the second space, and the sleeve has at least a second through hole for providing the second space in fluid communication with the lubricant collector. The housing is in fluid communication with the second space, and the first space is pressurizeable for causing the lubricant in the second space to be displaced through the second through hole and collected in the lubricant collector.
