STEER-BY-WIRE STEERING SYSTEM OF A MOTOR VEHICLE WITH A FEEDBACK ACTUATOR HAVING AN INTEGRATED MRF BEARING
A steer-by-wire steering system for a motorized vehicle includes a feedback actuator to simulate a steering feel to a steering device. The feedback actuator has an electric motor with a motor shaft connected to a driver input shaft to be able to transmit a torque. The motor shaft is able to be rotated in at least one rolling bearing. The rolling elements of the at least one rolling bearing are arranged in a magnetorheological fluid and the feedback actuator further includes an electromagnet to pass a magnetic field through said magnetorheological fluid for stiffening the fluid and restricting movement of the rolling element.
VEHICLE-MOUNTED APPARATUS HAVING BIASING STRUCTURE USING COIL SPRING
The present invention is to provide a vehicle-mounted apparatus having a biasing structure using a coil spring capable of reducing a lateral force of a coil spring that is applied to a biasing target member. When N1, n1, N0, and n0 represent the number of effective turns when the relief valve spring 37 is set in a valve hole 34 of a spool 29 in a compressed state, a value of an integer of N1, the number of effective turns when a length of the relief valve spring 37 is a natural length, and a value of an integer of N0, respectively, the spring 37 satisfies an equation 1: 0N1n10.25 or an equation 2: 0.75N1n1<1.
VEHICLE NOISE REDUCTION FOR VEHICLE OCCUPANTS
A vehicle and method for vehicle noise reduction for vehicle occupants are provided. The method comprises detecting a position of a window of the vehicle; and controlling the duty of an operational component of the vehicle based on the position of the window of the vehicle and at least one of: a speed of the vehicle, and a presence of a sound-reflecting structure proximate to the vehicle; wherein the operational component is external to a cabin of the vehicle; and wherein noise generated by the operational component increases with a duty of the operational component.
Steerable system for asphalt milling attachment
A steering mechanism and guidance system for a milling attachment device provides steering capability without impeding cutting depth control. The steering mechanism has at least one wheel that is rotated by an actuating mechanism such as an extending cylinder, synchronized actuators, or the like. The steering mechanism may be integrated with depth control by using a parallelogrammic structure with pivot points to assist in the depth control or may operate independent of and without impeding depth control.
HYDRAULIC STEERING DEVICE
A hydraulic steering device having a steering actuator (10), which can be actuated by a steering unit (12), and having a flow-regulating valve arrangement (14), which is also used to actuate the steering actuator (10), is disclosed, which is characterized in that the flow-regulating valve arrangement (14) has a discharge valve (V2), which is designed as a proportional servo valve (16), and a directional valve (V3), which, in its unactuated position, blocks the fluid-conveying connection between the discharge valve (V2) and the steering actuator (10) and, in its actuated position, actuates the steering actuator (10) in one or the other steering direction.
Steerable System for Asphalt Milling Attachment
