STEERING GEAR APPARATUS FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
A steering gear apparatus (2) for a motor vehicle (1), comprising a hydraulic steering gear (11) and an electromechanical actuator (7) which is configured to actuate a working valve (10) of the hydraulic steering gear, it being possible for hydraulic fluid to be conducted out of a fluid reservoir (14) selectively into one of at least two working spaces (12) of the hydraulic steering gear (11) in a manner which is dependent on a position of the working valve (10), the steering gear apparatus (1) having a fallback device (16) which is configured, in particular in emergency operation of the steering gear apparatus (2), to selectively conduct hydraulic fluid into one of the at least two working spaces (12) independently of the position of the working valve (10).
Apparatus and method for a steering control system
A steering control system adapted for use on a paving machine having one or more wheels and an automatic pivot steer mode. The preferred steering control system comprises a speed sensor adapted to determine a paving machine speed, a steering cylinder adapted to move between a straight forward position and a fully turned position, a steering cylinder sensor adapted to determine a steering cylinder position, a flow sharing valve in fluid communication with one or more of the one or more wheels and adapted to be moved between an open position and a closed position, and a controller adapted to communicate with the speed sensor, the steering cylinder sensor, and the flow sharing valve. The preferred steering control system is adapted to automatically open and close the flow sharing valve. Automatically moving the flow sharing valve between the open position and the closed position.

Pilot neutralizing system
A pilot neutralizing system of a work vehicle may include a pilot neutralizer. The work vehicle may include a first frame portion and a second frame portion. The work vehicle has an actuating assembly used to pivot the first frame portion relative to the second frame portion. The pilot neutralizer is electrically coupled to a controller receiving a signal indicative of an articulation position. The pilot neutralizer is hydraulically coupled between an operator control member and a steering valve to selectively change a pilot signal at the steering valve. The pilot signal is used to switch the steering valve to change a direction of a hydraulic fluid flowing from the steering valve to the actuating assembly. When the articulation position reaches a cushion region during steering, the pilot neutralizer is de-energized or energized by the controller to change the pilot signal at the steering valve to resist the actuating assembly from moving.
Hydraulic steering arrangement
A hydraulic steering arrangement (1) comprising a supply port arrangement having a pressure port and a tank port, a working port arrangement having two working ports (L, R), a mechanical steering unit (3) connected to a steering wheel (2) and being arranged between the supply port arrangement and the working port arrangement (L, R), supply valve means (12) having a connection to the pressure port and to the working port arrangement (L, R) and being controlled by a controller (10), and a steering wheel sensor (9) connected to the controller (10) is described. Such a steering arrangement could allow a comfortable feeling for the driver. To this end the steering wheel sensor (9) is mounted in a position of minimum play to steering wheel (2) and steering wheel sensor (9) and detects a beginning of a movement of the steering wheel (2), wherein the controller (10) actuates the supply valve means (12) upon beginning of the movement, and the supply valve means (12) supply hydraulic fluid to the working port arrangement (L, R).

Work vehicle
A work vehicle includes a steering wheel, a steering cylinder, a steering valve, a feed line, a return line, an electromagnetic valve, and a controller. The steering valve is configured to supply hydraulic fluid to the steering cylinder in response to steering of the steering wheel. The feed line is configured to feed the hydraulic fluid from the steering valve to the steering cylinder. The return line is configured to return the hydraulic fluid from the steering cylinder to the steering valve. The electromagnetic valve is disposed between the feed line and the return line. The controller opens the electromagnetic valve in response to an oil pressure in the feed line.

Hydraulic steering device with variable ratio
A variable ratio hydraulic steering device with two or more orbit displacers ensures steering with low actuating forces even in the event of a total or partial failure of the oil flow supply. In the event of a total or partial failure of the oil flow supply, the device is capable of switching from one orbit displacer to another, if necessary, independently of the pressure at the inlet connection of the steering device.
